Dr. Jane E Watson Alford, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Alford's for 20 years. I had seen 3 different psychiatrists before meeting with her. She is the only one who was able to correctly diagnose my illness in a short amount of time. She is well educated in my specific illness with years of expereince. She not only treats my symptoms but has taught me everything about my illness so I would fully understand it and be able to inform her of different changes I might be going through. She is professional, yet friendly, displays understanding for my emotions and difficulties of my illness. When meeting with her, if she feels my medicines need to be adjusted she is proactive and makes changes carefully, and slowly, seeing me more often during this time and observing my reaction to the medicine. When I have a question for her or her nurse I call and speak with a live person, leave the message and I get a return call that very day. Every time.
