Kept waiting for five hours after scheduled appointment time, not helpful in the end

Dr. Gilden cares very much for her patients. Each visit I have had she has spent a significant amount of time with me. She has listened to any of my concerns. She has also accurately identified the underlying causes to my health issues. Any waiting time to see her is well worth it.

have been seeing Dr Gilden for over eight years. Nobody could figure out "what the heck" was wrong with me. ER visits, passing out etc. She knew immediately what was wrong and had the right drug. I go in with no less the 20 questions and she takes the time to answer, fully, everyone of them. If I wait, it's because someone else is getting their questions answered !. I am treated with great kindness and compassion every time I go there. In addition, she has a background in pharmaceuticals. Very helpful if you have tons of allergies like I do. She has made the difference between a bedridden cripple and someone who is up doing the job that I love doing. I owe the last eight years of my life to this very smart lady/doctor.

Dr. Gilden had been my mother's endocrinologist for years. Never once did my mother have to worry when she needed her questions answered nor worried about the type or level of care she would receive in Dr. Gildens attendance. I hope other doctors will take a leaf out of Dr. Gilden's book on professionalism, bedside mannerisms, and level of communication with their patients. I do recommend that you see Dr. Gilden if you want very forward and honest answers about your health. She will not play games, but will gently let you know what you need to do for your overall health. You can't ask for anyone one better than Dr. Gilden.
