Dr. Janice Lynne Bacon, MD

My daughter has been battling an ongoing mysterious rash for 3 years. We have seen Dr. Bacon several times for this rash, however every time we make an appointment for her to see the rash with her own eyes, the rash has disappeared once the date of the appointment has arrived. The last visit we had, Dr. Bacon asked me to call the day of so we could come in and she could understand what we were dealing with. I called today at 9 am, as the rash flared up late last night. By 1:20, I had no heard back from anyone so I decided to call back to see if I could bring her in before closing. I was told that no appointment had been made nor was one going to be made because the Dr. was booked for the day. The staff wanted to schedule me for another day. I explained to the head nurse the situation we were dealing with, going into great detail about the Dr.s orders to call back the day the rash appears since we had done several tests and nothing had come back to explain what the rash was or why it… was there. Her staff refused to see my daughter. I can not fathom working on a medical staff and treating patients like a number rather than case by case. I am highly disappointed.

I've been with Dr. Bacon for over 4 years now. Saw her through my first pregnancy and she was phenomenal. She delivered my son & always spent a great deal of time listening to my concerns and making educated decisions in my best interest. She helped me through getting pregnant with our second baby, and I am now 2 weeks away from delivery with this one. Still, couldn't be happier with her. I have a breech baby and will have to have a c-section & she has been wonderful and informative throughout the entire process. Truly wish she could be my doctor for everything! Her bed side manner is incredible & she is truly a genius medical doctor. Highly recommended.

Best doctor ever.Very nice,gentle and caring.Love her. My best suggestion for all the ladies looking for OB/GYN is Dr.Bacon only.its hard to get an appointment but at least try .There are 3 other best doctors in her group at Lexington Medical Center
