Dr. Jason Ari Kaplan, MD

I received excellent care from Dr. Kaplan. He answered all of my questions and provided helpful information about my condition and prognosis. His manner is straightforward, kind and helpful.

Not very impressed. He did not answer my questions and was quite abrupt, bordering on rude. I have dry macular degeneration and was concerned about it getting worse. His response was, “well, you are getting old and it will get worse. Take some vitamins and come back in 6 months.” He did not compare the other retinal pictures taken by the referring ophthalmologist in the same office. He did not answer any of my questions. He kept repeating that I don’t have wet macular. He provided no education. I was very disappointed with this abrupt visit.
