Awesome!

Been seeing Dr. Wu for 5 years. After being misdiagnosed multiple times - I ended up hospitalized. Dr. Wu saved me. He listens, and cares. I know I am in good hands. His assistant Renee is great as well, conducts herself with an appropriate sense of urgency and always follows up if there is ever any concerns.

In my opinion and years of experience with Jason Wu, he is a pompous, patient-unfriendly clinician. He is unresponsive to the needs of his patient and expects patients to accept the worst service any clinician would impose on a trusting patient. Notice I refer to him as a "clinician" because he is not even an "MD". To make matters worse, his staff is rude, condescending and patient unfriendly in my opinion...

Waited a month to see him and with symptoms was afraid to wait that long. 2 weeks my appointment I received a call that he is clearing his schedule for that day and I will have to make a new appointment. Clearly does not care about his patients if something better comes up. Read other reviews that he is not reliable with appointments as well.

I made an appoinment because I have pain in my right foot. A day before my appointment, I get a call telling me they have to change my appointment because the doctor is not in. I had to change several things in my schedule to accomodate the doctor. The day of my appointment, I got there 5 minutes late, exactly 4:05pm, because of traffic in route 10 and in route 80. The secretary called Dr. Wu and he said: "Re-schedule". I couldn't believe the rudeness. I made an appointment with another doctor. I am sure my new rheumatologist will care more than this Dr. Wu.

I will say in fairness that I found him to be a very good listener. The wait time is short. The office uncrowded, and the receptionist friendly. So what is the problem? he is in practice alone. The last visit he had advised me that I was only on the starter dose of Neurontin and that the effective dose was three times what I was taking. At the time, told him that I did not want to increase the dose yet because it was making me too tired, but he advised he wanted me to increase at the next visit. Fast forward 3 weeks. I have arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain in my feet, Raynauds and a crashed immune system. I have been on Pain Management for years with the appropriate contract, blood tests etc. and am on Oxycodone. I regularly receive cortisone injections so I can walk. After no sleep Fri, Sat, and Sun night, I called first thing Mondayto get an appointment for a cortisone injection in my hip and increase the Neurontin to the effective dose.i explained I… did not want to go to my pain mgt doctor because I don't want to increase my Oxycodone. The receptionist says, weel Dr. Wu is out until next week. Call back Monday. No advice of what to do. Nothing. I asked who was covering. She tells me he has no one covering. I ask can they call in an increase in the Neurontin. She says I can talk to his assistant. I leave a message. I finally get a call back at 2:30 pm. After being treated like a drug addict, and a she finally admits there is a doctor covering. Evidently both she and the receptionist had lied. She only admitted it because I told her that in 25 years,in the medical field I have never seen a doctor who did not have a covering doctor . This is when she admitted there WAS a covering doctor and she and the receptionist had both lied. I explained that I could not really call my pain mgt doctor to increase the Neurontin because Dr. Wu prescribed it. I mean I could, but that isn't really right. She acted like I was on Oxycntin and ran out early and was pulling a scam. I explained that Neurontin is a nerve medication, not controlled, able to be called in. At last, she agrees to call the covering doctor and call me back. She then proceeds to do nothing. I never hear back. I call at 6pm. The office is closed. So, I spend another day and night in agony, until I get into pain management the next day, all because of lies, no real coverage, and the inability to call in a simple prescription for the dose the dr. Wanted me on anway. If I did not have a pain management dr. To fall back on I'd be in the hospital. Unfortunately, they couldn't have cared less. If you have some simple tennis e elbowor joint stiffness, fine. If you are a patient who limps or has a serious problem, I have to warn you in good conscience, look elsewhere.

After reading this doctors credentials I found my appointments with him to be very disappointing. He did blood work and x-rays and his diagnosis of my arthritic condition was understood. The medications he placed me on were ineffective and left me very ill . After this the doctor no longer cared to continue treating me . He had offered me no new treatments or alternative treatments. Thank God for my primary care physician who always comes through ! I would not recommend this doctor as I found him quite lazy in his field of expertise . Nothing special here . He is also quite expensive.
