This man could not care less about patients in the ED at Jewish Hospital. He did not even meet me until discharge, yet was calling all the shots. It seems like he feels very powerful by withholding tangible help. Or, once he hears what you think would be helpful, he becomes oppositional, but can't explain why he is doing whatever he is doing. He especially ticked me off because my husband, who is a physician, was completely dismissed with "I need to speak directly to the patient, you don't know how she feels". I am sad to discover that he also works at UC. Won't go there either, if I need an emergency room again.

My wife was in the ER with this arrogant dr. where she went with chest pains. We were seeing him during a second visit to the ER. He did nothing additional from the first visit, despite complaints of agonizing chest pain, proclaimed he had TWO minutes to speak with us, after he tapped his watch, and raised his voice. He said he was comfortable with my wife leaving the ER. I said we were not comfortable. He stormed away, and we ended up at another ER, to discover a 99% blockage in her LAD, she had suffered a moderate heart attack. and spent four days in severe pain, treating pneumonia. He was an arrogant, disrepectful, and abusive DR.
