Been going to Dr. Schecter for about 3 years. Have dystonia. Have been very pleased with him. Always upbeat and professional. Never had a problem getting appointment. He gets me and out very quickly. Several times student doctors he been with him to learn how to administer the Botox. He has always asked my permission for them to observe and explained the procedure to them in easy to understand language.

I had to see a NP working under him. She didn't listen to what I was telling her, asked the SAME question repeatedly and focused on one symptom. She seemed in over her head. She then for Dr. Schecter. He knew nothing about me or my numerous symptoms and was a jerk! He mocked me, made a diagnosis based on a test the NP did which was a joke. He said I was depressed! So now I know arms and hands going numb and tingling, memory loss, severe fatigue, muscle weakness and stiffness, and several other symptoms are all due to depression and anxiety.

Have had many problems getting the correct medicine dispensed through the nurses who work for Dr Schecter. After numerous calls, still a problem. Dr. Schecter is wonderful.

This doctor was rude, arrogant and condescending. During the appointment he answered his phone (it didn't sound like an emergency) and checked it a second time. This doctor seemed more concerned with appearing like a good doctor then actually being a good doctor. He lacked professionalism and behaved in a discourteous and disrespectful manner.
