Dr. Fortson was very helpful in responding to, and treating, my needs. I appreciate the work that she and her staff did to make me feel comfortable and cared for. They worked with me over a period of time, and were a significant help to my medical needs. I highly recommend her to you!

I was so impressed with my visit to Dr. Forston today. She and her assistant, Danielle, spent over an HOUR with me discussing my skin concerns. She did not push any products on me, and does not blindly adhere to any one skin care line, but rather picks and chooses the best products from various lines (as well as ones she has developed) based on science. I brought in all of the products I had at home, and she helped me pick out which ones were most appropriate for my conditions (so that I could use them up before purchasing others) and helped me develop a skin care routine using those and a few others she recommended based on research and science. We also discussed various laser treatments that I could pursue now, or further down the line when I had the finances to do a full course. She was incredibly knowledgeable about my conditions, appropriate treatments, as well as the wide variety of products out there that might be helpful. I don't think I have had such a thorough and… attentive experience with any type of doctor, ever. Thanks, Dr. Fortson, I will be back!

Dr. Fortson was recommended to me by family. I read previous posts about her that were very negative but I kept my appointment anyway. I had a very good visit and did not see any of the negative things that had been posted. I would recommend Dr. Fortson to anyone.

I have been going to Dr. Fortson over the last several years for various skin treatments. I was originally seen for an unknown skin rash over my body that was treated and cured over two weeks. At a follow up appointment I asked about different treatments for my adult acne. Dr. Fortson recommended Accutane. Dispite the side affects, I decided to try the treatment anyway. To my surprise, it worked! I no longer have large acne breakouts. I am so thankful she recommended a medication that has improved not only my self esteem but my life as an adult. I continue to visit her office to see Raegan her aesthetician for acne (blackhead removal) and laser treatments. These treatments are quite relaxing, not to mention productive at keeping my face clear and looking radiant. The proffesionalism and compassion I receive during these treatments are genuine and sincere. She has given me pointers on ways to help prevent blackhead breakouts and different treatments to reduce scarring caused by my… teenage acne. I would greatly recommend Raegan to anyone hoping to improve the appearance of their skin. She is a great aesthetician and knows her stuff. The treatments I receive are in a quiet calm setting and I always leave the office in a relaxed and refreshed state of mind! I will continue to recommend this office to anyone who asks for a referral to a dermatologist and an awesome aesthetician, they are great! Thank you Fortson Dermatology!!!

I have been going to see Dr Fortsons esthetician for almost a year now. Raegan is the reason I continue to be seen at this office. She's leaves my skin looking fabulous! I look forward to my treatments with her not only because the treatments are amazing but because of her great personality, knowledge of products, skin and different treatments. Raegan makes sure you are apart of your care at this office and is a wonderful addition to that business.

I was brought into a room. She looked at my face for one minute tips and said I should go on Accutane. She then received a call apparently and was gone for the rest if my visit. I'm sorry but when I call a doctor I am often told 'they are with a patient.' Why did this doc think it was ok to take a call during my appointment. I had several concerns about the accutane with regard to birth defect warnings, the fact that I wear contacts, and anxiety/depression concerns in the questionnaire I was given. I was not given an opportunity to address these concerns. They were trying to usher me out of the room about 20 minutes after I got there even after I asked if she was coming back. I decided not to insist on the matter bc clearly she didn't care. I had to pay $170 for this visit. WASTE OF MONEY.

I was very impressed with Dr. Fortson and her office. She diagnosed me accurately and put me on a therapy that really helped. She sold me some wonderful products that were well priced. I had been battling acne for years, been to so many other dermatologists in town, and she was the only one who helped me. Now I have more confidence as my face is not always broken out like a teenager. I don't even need to wear makeup to cover blemishes, because i don't have them anymore. Although sometimes she may run late, it is well worth waiting for. After seeing her many times, I know she truly cares about her patients welfare. She is hard working and very dedicated to her work. She always an answered all of my questions, and I usually had a long list! I was always well treated at her office and would recommend her highly.

I went to Fortson after seeing another doctor for almost 6 years of my youth. My skin has changed and actually gotten worse as an adult. I went into this appointment armed with a list of the medications/topicals/OTC treatments I've had before and she took one look at my skin and prescribed Accutane. She was decently nice to me but noticeably snippy to her office staff, who were very polite.I had to take a urine sample and was kind of shocked that they had me urinate in a cup with kid designs on it and leave it on top of the toilet without a pen to mark my name, but thats not super important.Overall, I'm satisfied as she seems to know her stuff.

Dr. Fortson obviously diagnosed me appropriately because I went through an 8 month treatment and couldn't be happier with my results! I haven't had a blemish in over 6 months; my life is so much easier now that I am not always worrying about breakouts. If I had know going to the dermatologist would give me these results I would have gone so much sooner! She doesn't try to oversell her products but what she did recommend worked really well for me and weren't too off from drug store prices.
