Dr. Jeffrey Michael Ambinder, MD

Dr Ambinder is the worse. You wait hours when you have an appointment. He’s doesn’t listen to you and is never available to speak to when you have an emergency. I had two major issues and almost died twice under us care. The nurses are awful and rude and you never get any calls returned. The phone to the nurses line never get answered and no voice mail either. The front staff are the worst. Only go to him if you want to die

In my experiences seeing Dr. Ambinder, he has a TERRIBLE office staff...especially the records department. No one returns calls. Other times the phone rings a dozen times for records and no one answers and/or it does not go to voicemail. Finally there was a very long wait to see the doctor. I will not see him again

Dr. Ambinder took the time to review my case and explain the options for treatment. He was caring and professional. His office staff are all amazing!

Dr. Ambinder took over two months to biopsy my daughter, despite her having every symptom of leukemia and her blood counts and sonograms reflected this. He kept pushing off her biopsy, sending her for weekly bloodwork, and saying that it was not likely that she had leukemia. At the point of her diagnosis, she was in critical condition in the hospital and had to have an emergency biopsy. He presented the results to her as being "basically pre-cancerous," which was absolutely not the case. She ended up having a rare form of leukemia that required immediate treatment, a bone marrow transplant, and a 7 month hospital stay. Her blood was over 90% cancer cells and she would have died if he had continued waiting to biopsy her. I cannot fathom how a highly recommended specialist was unable to diagnose this for over two months. Only use him if you want to die before he even bothers to diagnose you.

I feel very comfortable putting myself in his professional, empathetic care. Dr Ambinder’s knowledge & wisdom, and the way he presents, shows he cares deeply about each patient. Outstanding in every way.
