Jeffrey Kennedy, MD

Dr. Kennedy has been my doctor for several years. He has controlled my glaucoma and helped me find a specialist when I needed eye surgery. I think he is shy but very competent.

He is knowledgeable but his bedside manner is poor! He often makes insensitive comments, fails to listen actively to patients, and misrepresents past events, like reasons for changing a medication. He is polite but lacks compassion. He almost seems to enjoy delivering bad news, and leans toward liberal solutions (i.e., surgery) unless the patient pushes back. I am looking for another doctor. I need to maintain a compassionate care team, and for the most part, he just doesn’t fit with my other providers. If you’re looking for a good ophthalmologist, he will go in a pinch but not as a long-term care physician. His attitude is uncaring.

Dr. Kennedy was terrific! He answered all my questions and concerns regarding Glaucoma. I am new to the Seattle area and happy to have a wonderful doctor. His staff was very knowledgeable and efficient.

He was mean and rough. Sent me to drive home after scratching my cornea. Frightening and unsafe. Never again!
