Dr. Jeffrey Bruce Rubinstein, MD

My son was having issues with his throat and needed to visit a doctor. I originally chose this doctor based on reviews I had found through Google. Man, were they wrong! Immediately upon entering, I was hit in the face with a musty, smoke smell. The office was very small and appeared old and dirty. We completed the initial paperwork, then they called my son in to room #1. You literally could hear everything he was saying through the door, so much for confidentiality. Next, the nurse kept coming out looking for the doctor, apparently he wasn't even in the office! We were told he was not even going to arrive until 11am, my son was there 10 minutes before 10am. Horribly unprofessional. Definitely would advise anyone seeking an ENT to look elsewhere before ever coming here.

Dr Rubinstein is absolutely fan-tab-u-lous!!! His girls are sweethearts, and Dr R is absolutely the most curtious physician I have met.

I trust his decisions

He is very good and always follows up with you to make sure everything is okay.

Mean, nasty and unprofessional

This "doctor" grabbed my face and started probing without even introducing himself. He inflicted severe pain examining me, all the while not explaining what he was doing or why. I was scared to death that my problem might be cancerous, and he arbitrarily replied, "might be-might not- I don't know." He did not biopsy the area and literally wrote me off with a mild antibiotic and said to come back. NO WAY! Even his nurses were apologizing for his unprofessional, cruel manners.

Upon making the appt, I was told to come into the office 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. My appt was for 3:30pm and I arrived and signed in at 3:10pm. I was not acknowledged until 4pm and was finally given paperwork. At 4:38pm I was taken back for triage and placed into a room. Since all records are computer based, the girl who was completing my new patient info, in the exam room, spent 10 minutes on trying to web search my family doctors fax number. Really??? While the doctor is examining me you couldn't be looking for this info??!! She seem peeved with me because I didn't know my family doctors fax number. I never FAX my family md. Geezus! I left the exam room without being treated and complained to the MD on the way out the door. Doctors think their time is valuable and it is, but so is my time. Not only am I a patient, I am a paying CUSTOMER. Dr. Jeffrey Rubinstein may be a doctor but he is providing a service/business. You don't treat paying customers like they don't… matter. I'm sure he wouldn't wait almost two hours to pay for his groceries at the local market, why would he treat his patients/customers in this fashion?!
