Dr. Jeffrey Michael Bauman, MD

Dr Baumann did not not diagnose my diabetic neuropathy. He does not give any suggestions or what to do. If you want a good doctor who supports you in your journey, please don't go to him. If your h1ac is within range you are "fine". This is a lie. I am not fine and in a lot of pain from too high blood sugars.

I went to Dr. Bauman today for hyperthyroid. He was very patient and explained the causes of this and then did an ultrasound enabling him to diagnose me without having to do anymore of the typical tests. He was patient and very upbeat. He really knows his stuff. Thanks Dr. Bauman. PS the office staff is also extremely helpful and compassionate.

I went to this person more than two years ago suffering from severe adrenal exhaustion and hypothyroidism. I also have a rare disease that causes extreme inflammation to my feet and legs. He tried to tell me that "your thyroid is working fine" even though my TSH was over 8 and that he "only treats the TSH if it is over 10" and that my symptoms were from my "other disease" and had nothing to do with my thyroid. He also said there is "no such thing" as adrenal fatigue or exhaustion (no surprise). This guy is a callous, disrespectful, negligent quack and should not be allowed to practice medicine. See this fool at your own risk.

While i understand that hair loss (even with normal-ish bloodwork) and stagnant weight issues are hard to diagnose, he was patronizing, and loves to hear himself preach. This Dr. knows everything about everything, including teaching me how to make a salad. He is a "holistic" favoring weight watchers fan. He preached to me as a woman that i have "Typical" female stresses/issues as a 40yr old, and should learn how to juggle and prioritize daily life with kids better! Basically, everything is my fault. But then at the end of my appt. asked if there was anything he could do for me...haha what a joke, are you kidding after all this?! So if this is the feeling/experience/advise you want from a Dr., then go see Dr. Bauman and his holistic, weight watchers, perfect life! Waste of time. Oh, and told me that as Society, we waste money on unnecessary vitamins, getting dooped into believing that they work. He said that my multi was useless and so was my b-complex pill. And still, no… vitamin advise for hair loss or anything to help my primary reason for going to see this quack!

This "doctor" treated me like I was something less than human...he should not even be allowed to practice medicine. A complete waste of time and money.

I found Dr. Bauman to be thorough and to explain things well. He is direct without being rude and is confident in his explanations/diagnosis without being arrogant.

I am extremely happy with Dr. Bauman. He is not quick to give drugs. He works with diet and exercise first. He watches your blood results carefully and does his best to make sure he sets you on the right track. He shoots from the hip and is an excellent Endocrinologist.

His knowledge regarding Hashimoto's/hypothyroid was severely lacking. Do not go to him if that is your issue. He blames patient for lingering symptoms instead of raising meds or checking for root of issues. Lots of new studies done in this area, he needs to review them. Worst Dr I've ever been to.

Dr. Bauman initially comes across as intelligent but ask a few questions and he seems to get uncomfortable, dismissive, and provides very little useful information. If you like to take part and understand your medical treatment then find another doctor.

Was referred by my GP and found him to be completely arrogant and dismissive. If you're looking for a diagnostician this is NOT your guy. He might be okay for medication refills, if you don't care about a pleasant experience.... :(
