He performed a hemisperetomy on my 6 month old and done amazing!! As of today my son is 2 months seizure free and his cut is healed perfect, you almost don't even see it!! He's very confident and very informative when it comes to filling you in on everything before a surgery.

I have many chronic illnesses and had the not so fortunate pleasure of having Dr. Blount perform emergency surgery to clean out an infection. I had no choice in my doctor as he was the one on call in the ER. At my post op appointment, he felt the need to say that I was faking every illness I was diagnosed with and should have never had any of my previous surgeries. He went on a thirty-minute rant downgrading every other doctor I see as he believes they were all enablers to what is actually a psychological problem. On top of this, the surgery he performed also gave me a spinal leak. Stay far away from this doctor if you have anything wrong that is outside of the most textbook case.

Dr. Blount performed emergency c-spine surgery on me, at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego in 1998. He took amazing care of me and I've had a successful life as a result of his skill and compassion. I now have three grandchildren who may have never met me, had it not been for Dr. Blount. I never forgot him and I just wanted to the world to know how grateful I am to have been his patient. He saved my life. Thank you, Dr. Blount.

Doctor Blount saved my life when I a baby. At school we had to do a report on our real- life super hero. And never the less mine was doctor Blount. His nurse Gigi and I are real good pals they both make me safe and are good about getting me feeling better as soon as possible. I would never doubt them because they got it and I trust them. So thank you doctor Blount and nurse Gigi. I can't thank enough.

When your baby is less than a year old and your told she has Hydrocephalus (something you know nothing about) and told she needs a specialist is the field of Nuerosurgery you feel your world close in and breathing is difficult. Obviously God had everything under control. He led us to Dr Blount and his nurse Gigi Pate. He has performed numerous surgeries on my daughter over the past 12 years and she is fantastic. Whenever we have questions or concerns it just takes a quick email to Gigi to determine if we need to make a trip to the office, ER or monitor things at home. Dr Blount is not about running a bill up on the insurance. He does what is best for the child while treating the parents with respect and compassion. My daughter does not want any other Neurosurgeon. Thank you Dr. Blount and Nurse Gigi!!!!

During our visits with Dr. Blount, I have always felt assured that we were receiving the best care imaginable. He is awesome.

Dr. Blount is a God send. He is so knowledgeable in his area and his bedside manner is the best.

Fantastic doctor with great rapport with young people. He explained the issues plainly but was upfront about the potential realities.

In my opinion, Dr Blount is the best pediatric neurosurgeon. He has operated on my child twice and was very thorough and answered all questions. He is an amazing person!!!
