I have been diagnosed with IBD and Dr. Gretz has done a phenomenal job of keeping me healthy. He responds to phone calls rapidly and takes the time in the room to make sure you are taken care of.

Elected to spend his time speaking about his disdan of Trump. Not sure what made him decide to do that?? He then proceeded to spend less time listening to my symptoms. I ended up in the hospital two months later with a partial bowel obstruction. Totally avoid this doctor

Dr. Gretz spent about 10 minutes with me-most of the time was spent looking at his computer. I told him that I have been vomiting, almost daily, and that I am experiencing major/severe abdominal pain in my low left quadrant. After he asked if I had blood in my stool, I said no. He said he didn't seem too concerned about anything. I AM VOMITING EVERYDAY AND IN PAIN, and he is not concerned? He did give me a prescription, to relax muscles in my abdomen. I have Celiac's Disease, and when I asked him to make sure that there was no gluten in the prescription, he said he has no idea what the makers of the drug in Pakistan put into it. Well, that is great, considering even a tiny bit of gluten makes me sick. He might be a great surgeon, I do not know...but I was not impressed by his concern or by his ability to help me in any way. If you are really sick, and yet nothing is showing up on your scans, please consider reading Sarah Ballantyne's Autoimmune Protocol. She is brilliant for people… with GI issues that no GI doctor's seem to be helping. If you have had luck with Dr. Gretz, I am so glad. For me, I will next time keep the $70 co-pay.

Dr. Gretz operated on my husband just this week in the hospital for a problem my husband had swallowiing to the extent that eating was distressful rather than enjoyable. The prodedure went just the way Dr. Gretz told us to expect and the results are amazing. My husband is already enjoying eating in a way he hasn't been able to in years and the procedure was only done two days ago. He is still in the hospital for other problems but the endoscopy was a complete success thanks to the doctor. We would both recommend Dr. Gretz highly.

most memorable - Prompt in keeping appointment. Never kept waiting more than 10 minutes. Intelligent approach to ailment. Accurate diagnosis of chronic ailment that baffled another doctor in Plattsburgh. I would gladly recommend Dr Gretz

Dr, Gretz had a great bed side manner. Explained everything that needed to be done and why. Completely trusted him and felt he was going to figure out what was wrong with me and get me back on my feet!! Great doctor!!!!
