Saw Dr heller with a few skin issues. He took a biopsy. Dealt with pain, rashes for 12 days until going back for bx report. Gave me the report.. nothing to worry about, but, refused to discuss current pain, problems. Told me to make another appt for one month. Will find a caring, dedicated md now. Very, very poor treatment..

This Dr is arrogant, and spends no time at all listening to symptoms or concerns. My 5 year old son had a skin problem on half of his face. After seeing this Dr for several months with different steroids being prescribed, I requested that he culture it. Dr refused, prescribed more steroids. The next day his face was blistery and oozing- took him to my Dr who cultured it and it came back staph infection so serious that it was on the verge of cellulitis. I would not trust his diagnosis on anything.

Both my husband and I have been to visit Dr Heller a few time with great satisfaction.

Overall I was pleased - have visited twice. One time had to wait quite a while, and on one visit didn't wait long at all. I like that he doesn't push the "cosmetic" side of his practice which so many dermatologists tend to do these days, although it's available if you are interested. I went in for a skin check and my suggestion would be to ensure he does a thorough check - I was sitting on the table and he didn't really look at the back of my legs. He also seems a bit rushed so be prepared to get all of your concerns addressed before he dashes out the door!
