Dr. Jeffrey H Landau, MD

Seeing Dr. Landau was the most traumatic experience I have ever had with a doctor. If I could give zero stars, I would. He overbooks and when he finally came in to see me, he asked if my husband or I was the patient. Even though he had my chart in his hands!! I explained to him that I needed my catheter removed bc I went into the ER for urinary retention and the ER doctor referred me to him and said that I needed to get it removed ASAP after Christmas when offices open again. Dr. Landau looked super annoyed and said that he didn’t have time today and I’ll have to come back on Wednesday. I explained to him how much pain I was in and he said well, you’ve had it in for this long, so what’s another 2 days? When I made the appointment, I told them everything and they said that he could remove my catheter, so that’s what I was expecting. I also had to pay before my appointment and he didn’t do any sort of exam or anything. I basically paid over $200 to be yelled at and blown off. I… refused to go back to him and I found another urologist, who was caring and treated me with respect.

I went to him because I was going to the bathroom to much. He said it was my prostate and wanted to to a simple procedure. I asked what the side affects were and if it was safe. He said there we're no complications, he did the procedure all the time. The quack lied. Turns out that if you have peripheral vascular disease you are not a candidate for this procedure. He knew I had pvd and did the procedure anyway. As a result he destroyed my bladder neck muscle and left scar tissue in my urethra. I hurt every time I urinate now and sex hurts too much. There is nothing that can be done. This quack had screwed me up for life.

The care that Dr. Landau provided my dad was excellent. He was most helpful in explaining things in a way that my family could understand and process. He was always available when required, even over weekends and nights! One of the best surgeons and fabulous physicians I have ever come across!! Would highly recommend him!

Dr Jeffery is an excellent surgeon, removed my kidney stone. Staff is very good. Office needs Xray machine instead of going to hospital and may be update the office.

I was uncomfortable with going to the Dr about my urology issue, but this guy was easy to talk to and comforting.

The wait is ridiculous!!! We scheduled an appointment for surgery in Methodist Mckinney at 1pm, got to the hospital at 11 am according to pre op instructions. It is now 3:36pm and Dr. landau is still not here. I understand things happen and all with surgeries. But this wait time is unacceptable. I have been talking to the nursing staff here and come to find out that he is never prompt, almost never start his surgeries on time. Everyone 's time is precious and I just do not think this is right for patients to wait like this. This is the worst surgery experience ever!!! I really wished that I did more research on this doctor before.

My general doctor referred me to Dr. Landau, I've called three times, once to a message I left about a week ago-with no response-the last two times it rang until it went to busy signal. I guess they are that busy?

Great doctor. Explained everything well. Made me feel comfortable. Recommend.

My initial phone call for the Frisco location (not listed on any web information) was most unpleasant. The girl answering the call was rude and seemed very put upon that I asked for the address after telling her it was not listed on any social media site. When I asked her to repeat the address, she actually said, "I've already given it to you once.". If this is a reflection of the office, I wonder if they would take the time to listen to patients.

Very unprofessional office and doctor! Office staff and nurse seem clueless. No privacy at ALL. Everyone in the office knows every patient's information, including the patients in the waiting area. The doctor has very poor communication skills and seems unsure when making any type of decision. Please don't waste your time with this doctor, as I did!
