Dr. Jeffrey Matthew Douglass, MD

I question his competence. He wouldn't listen to me. I ask for labs to test my stomach acid, enzymes, and thyroid, or whatever has been causing me to loose 30 pounds over the last few years. He insisted I get a colonoscopy. Interestingly enough he works at a colonoscopy clinic. I explained how painful it had been a few months before when I tried to prep, but wasn't successful. I had a colonoscopy 4 yrs before at this clinic and they found nothing. He still insisted on a colonoscopy. So I scheduled a procedure, but after thinking about it, I canceled. Dr. Douglass personally called my house and told me to get a colonoscopy. When I refused, that ended our relationship....Then he sent me a bill for $187 dollars. I sent him a letter explaining that I felt I had been refused treatment, and I didn't feel it was OK to charge me for refusing to treat me. He already received $400 from medicare. I ask him to call me so we could discuss it. Instead he sent it to collections.

I believe it was in 2011 that my daughter started having major stomach issues not being able to eat, losing a lot of weight and no one could figure out the issue. We were then referred to Dr Douglas. He did many tests as all the other doctors did coming up with no real conclusion. Then he figured it out and it was her pyloric sphincter. it was closed from her stomach to her intestines. He ended up doing an experimental surgery of a botox injection. It worked for awhile a year later we had to do it again. In 2013 we had to do it another time we weren't sure if we were going to have to go every other year on this. It ended up being almost 5 years. This past week she had been so sick she had not ate for 6 days, constantly throwing up still trying to go to work and be productive in society. Finally Kayla went to the hospital and was admitted that night. The next morning I called Dr Douglas after hours because it was the weekend. He called me back within 10 minutes. Thank goodness above he… was on call this past weekend at Newberg Hospital. I then transferred my daughter from McMinnville to Newberg so we could get a diagnostic with Dr Douglas. The very next morning Dr Douglas did endoscopy and yes he did have to do another botox injection. Again he has saved my daughter. Dr Douglas is the only doctor that has figured out her problem. I believe in him 100%. Thank you for being there for us again when we critically needed your help.

Dr. Douglass is one of the kindest, most caring, matter-of-fact physicians I know. He makes having a "disgusting" procedure actually be easy.....but then I slept right thru it! The care before and after the procedure was smooth, efficient, reassuring and professional.....I'd recommend the doctor and the facility to my best friend.

Jeff is amazing! Have had multiple procedures done and he has always been amazing. He is very caring and his staff is amazing as well! I would and have recommended him many times!

Our child had been hospitalized twice, had many tests and 1 operative procedure before seeing Dr. Douglas. He diagnosed, treated, reassured and 'cured' him in 1 20 minute visit. He is awesome!

He's one of the most caring people I know.
