My first visit found him to be caring and attentive to my issues.his staff is terrific.

We don’t look for a Zebra in a back of horses he said to me… Well I was diagnosed with multiple rare disorders THAT HE MISSED does that make me a Unicorn and him a failure?

Was sent to him by a Diagnostic Rock Star to confirm a rare diagnosis. He refused. I was ultimately diagnosed and treated for it years later. I am heart broken by his treatment of me.

This Dr. almost ruined my life and I still have nightmares after all these years. It was such a horrible experience I refused to go to Endocrinologist for years. I was sent to him by an amazing Dr. to “rule out Thyroiditis and sub-clinical Cushing’s “ which I was subsequently diagnosed for TOTAL missed by him!!!! “We don’t look for a Zebra in a pack of horse’s” He demanded that we concede that he was the smartest Person in the room!! We refused! We did report him to the NYS medical board.

i was a patient by Dr mechanick for a few years after a few weeks i was a total new person beeing able to join family & frinds. His support was very helpful his communication with my other Drs & home care was always pronominal i would prefer EVERYONE in need to go see him CHAIM

Dr.Mechanic is a respected physician but the patient experience is a nightmare. His staff is a nightmare to deal with (I had an employee yawn in my face as I was trying to obtain information.). Waiting for test results is always a frustrating and unacceptable ordeal resulting in numerous calls begging for results. I am changing to another physician.

Dr Mechanick is very bright and thoughtful about treatment. He explains the biochemistry behind recommended medicine. very supportive about the struggles I face with diet and weight loss. I highly recommend him without reservation.
