Dr. Jenifer E Chungafung, MD

My son and I are a patient of Dr. Chunafung at the Regal Medical Ctr. in W.C. She has always listened to both of what we go in with. She allows me to ask many questions. She has answered many. She has been helpful with much of my sons needs which are so so many. I have been grateful that she also returns phone calls in which it could be hard to wait for a doctor to do. I have been able to get the referrals I need for myself and lab work for my son Thank you

My primary doctor is no longer at the medical group. I tried Dr. Chungafung as a new primary. Worst visit ever! She accused me of seeing her before and not taking her advise to take high cholesterol medication, which is not true and never happened. She then said, ok well never mind, are you going to take it or not? I said, my primary never put me on this medication??? I told her, that I needed to think about it, and read about side effects. She then said, I would have a heart attack, and die. She also told me, when they open you up, they will find that all your arteries are hardened. Now is this the way to talk with a new patient? I promptly when to work the next day and changed my medical coverage! This is a terrible doctor !

Dr. Chungafung has been my doctor for over 15 yrs and I never had a problem getting an appt whenever I needed it, she didn't sugar coat anything just said it like it is, honestly but always very professionally. She would follow up with me or her staff would. I never found her to order any labs or tests that were unnecessary. She always took all the time I needed to listen to me. I always recommend her.

Michelle F. is all over the place with her negative comments, GET OUT OF HERE PLEASE. I LOVED THIS DOCTOR. SHE DID A GREAT JOB FOR ME WHEN I DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE. SHE WAS VERY NICE, PAID GREAT ATTENTION and gave suggestions and told me what she knows from her experience. I think I learned from negative comments that they do not always work for good quality can be tarnished because of picky people :(.

Dr Chungafung is very harsh and blunt. She will be extrmemly dismissive of your problems and has no problems calling you dumb. She will also ask personal questions that are really none of her consern...Even though the staff was fine and professional she is the type of doctor that makes people not go to the doctor.

I 'm happy driving to see her, she always is solving my problems and frendly with us, she is very profesional and prompty solve situations. She is more than a Doctor , she is a friend with each one and show her interest for us. In my family we all decided to have her as a primary doctor. I really like the way she is.

My exprience with the doctor was horrible. She made extreemly little eye contact. She based her diagnosis on her opinion not on current knowledge. She refused to refill my prescription which I have been taking for over 10 years and would not give me alternatives that would help my chronic condition. She insulted myself and my physician of 8 plus years. At one point I had to ask her if she really wanted me as a patient.This was one of the worst experience I have had with a doctor. I wish I could be more positive but that would be a diservice to people looking for a good caring doctor.
