Dr. Jennifer Rose Boozer, DO

DO NOT see her!!! I usually do not write reviews on doctor preferences, but Dr. Boozer is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a doctor. I feel it is vital other people avoid her "care" and don't waste time or money seeing a doctor who refuses to actually help patients. I ended up seeing her a few times (talk about a form of self-torture!) due to not being able to see a different doctor that was preferred (should have been my first clue with all of her open appts). Her bedside manner is abysmal. She lacks serious empathy and compassion for health concerns. Why would you get into medicine if that's your approach with patients?. She dismisses your feelings making you feel foolish for making an appointment in the first place. One thing that really blew my mind was the self-focused behavior at the appointments. I was cut off from speaking and my symptoms were downplayed and she would somehow always turn what I was there for into her. I never should have accepted such poor treatment. Everything that she said was "fine" or blew off, I followed up with a new, fantastic doctor and they helped me get the treatment I needed. I went to her for help for real issues and she just dismissed them as being nothing when in fact they were something and required treatment. Shame on you Dr. Boozer!!

I had a skin lesion. This doctor was the only one I could see right away so that a swab could diagnose and treat it. She refused to do a test, took a guess at what it was and sent me off with no real diagnosis ot help of any kind. Her attitude was oozing with contempt towards me and she refused to listen to my concerns. Never going back to see her again.

Perhaps it was just an off day the day i visited, but this doctor seemed rushed and annoyed by my questions/concerns regarding my health-

If I could give no stars , I would. The only competent person there is Rene at front desk. Victoria is cold and really could care less about the patient. Constantly frowning and acting miserable. At my annual physical when she asked if I had any concerns for the doctor, I told her and she then proceeded to tell me, "well we can only do a physical or follow-up with your symptoms, so which do you want to do" when I said I really felt that I needed to discuss atleast one specific health issue with doc she rudely told me, 'sorry, we can't bill for 2 visits in one day". long story short, I left before ever seeing the doctor. I verified that the doctor should have done this during my visit and there is an easy way to Bill for it. I'm never going back and I will be filing a compliant. Sure do hope nothing is seriously wrong with me because I'll be filing a negligence lawsuit if there is. Awful Dr office. Save your time, money, and yourself from frustration and go somewhere else where they treat the whole person.

I finally found a Dr that speaks clearly and follows up with me. Love the office and the staff too

Dr. B is professional but serious. Staff is rude, unfriendly with no greeting or smile.

I've gone twice and it wasn't bad, but I've had better service. She was nice but very prompt. I felt like she was a get in and get out type of doctor, which I just don't prefer. She seemed knowledgeable, but not always clear. I came in a few weeks after my first appointment thnking it was a check up but it was a PAP-Smear to my surprize. My biggest complaint is that they do everything online. I had tests done and they didn't call me to let me know if it was clear or not, and I didn't have my log in. So you have to call to get it, just a hassle. My second complaint is she was NOT gentle during my PAP-smear. It was only my 2nd one and she RUSHED through it and it was painful. So I won't be going back to her for that.

I haven't actually had an appointment yet, but I was surprised how incredibly helpful her front office staff has been in setting an appointment. I've found that lacking in many doctors offices.

was happy to get a same day appt I understand why that was so easy after my Dr appt. Office staff is very rude and Dr Boozer was extremely condescending. I did not feel comfortable asking questions because of her attitude. She is very full of herself.I believe It was so easy to make an appt because no one wants her as a Dr. She wanted me to make an appt to see her in two weeks I have no idea why . I will not be returning to her office.

People are being extremely unfair and judgemental over Dr boozer. Yes shes young but very experienced and if it was not for the front office woman I would have went back to her.

I have been to Dr. Boozer's office three times and have not had a good experience each time. She wants to schedule additional appointments even though they are not needed and she will not refer until you make an additional visit to her office just to write the referral. Office staff borders on rude; it is obvious they are straining to be polite. Will switch doctors ASAP.

I have been very pleased under the care of Dr. Boozer. She diagnosed what potentially could have been a serious problem and followed-up right away with what needed to be done. I am now taking my children to see her and because we have an established relationship, I feel very comfortable with her. I also like the convenience of going to modern office in a beautiful area and that I always get in to see her even if I call in that day. I highly recommend Dr. Boozer as a family physician!

There was a new person when i visited this week in the front offcie, what an improvement. Love the computer pads for check-in. I like Dr. Boozer however, not sure if she cares or is just going through the routine, a little too distant, but excellent care, would recommend her and will remain with her for my care.

Its very hard for me to find a general MD because either there staff is rude or the Dr does not want to help. I researchd Dr and when I told her hoe glad I was to meet her and how I research design she looked at me like I was crazy. Other then that I liked her and yes the Jesus stuff is a huge turn off as a patient so I only saw her once. Her middle aged front desk lady was the reason I never went back she's extremely rude and made me feel scared to call the office.

Great visit, I generally hate Drs, or going to them anyway. She's very knowledgable and took time to explain, so I understood. I never was seen so quickly compared to my other Drs. The staff is really friendly and makes you feel welcome

I realy like Dr. Boozer. I used to have Kaiser and it was so hard to see my regular doctor and we never got to know each other. I am really happy about the relationship I have been able to establish with Dr. Boozer and so thankful for how she has gone out of her way to help me when I needed it.

Background: I recently retired from the military and had to make the transition to a civilian dr. Being new to the area, I relied on the advice from someone in the local area. First of all, the Dr was "experienced"..translation=been a Dr for so long, that he does not care anymore. First appointment to establish care, I was taken care by an intern (he was very attentive). I believe that if I am going to establish care with someone, then they should take the time to meet me and learn my history before having anyone else take care of me. When I finally met Dr, he did not address my issues and rushed me out of the office and on to the next.So, I proceeded to look for care elsewhere. I wanted to find a Dr that cared enough to meet me on my first visit. I found Dr Boozer's office by recommendation of my insurance carrier. The office manager (Doreen) was professional, polite and efficient. I had an appointment scheduled less than a week out and I was excited to meet my new Dr based on customer care I received from Doreen. The medical assistant was also great with customer care. I was not disappointed when I met Dr Boozer. My concerns were addressed and referrals that were needed to diagnose my concerns were submitted promptly. I left the office with a follow-up appointment, a couple of referrals in hand, and a positive feeling of the whole experience.

The front office manager is very abrupt and not very friendly.

This was my 6 time to the office. The Dr brought her kids to work and they are very undisciplined , loud and rude. I left with a headache due to the noise of the Dr yelling at her kids. I have 4 small kids of my own and I am sorry but they do not act that way ever. Running up and down the halls yelling and talking back. The dr had no control at all. I did not feel I had proper care because she was distracted. the office staff was at a loss of what to do with the kids. I usually receive great care but will ask next appt if her kids will be in the office before I come for my appt.

I recently started seeing Dr. Boozer and have been to follow up a couple times. I was glad to get some answers and treatment options. I felt like the urgent care was just throwing meds at me. It is much better to see my regular doctor. Dr. Boozer was so nice. She really took her time to talk to me and get to know me as a person. I really want to take my mom there because she could use a better doctor who listens. I was happy with the staff. They were very nice. The assistant Jen did tell me she was new there but she is very expreienced. The office was very clean and modern and I got my results in just a couple days after my first visit. I am so heppy to find a doctor that I like. I have even been seen the same day and that was go great since I did not have to go to the urgent care.
