Dr. Jennifer Lynn Burgham, MD

When I had her as a pediatrician, she never communicated or answered any of our concerns. She was very dismissive and would only write stuff down but never communicate it to us. I later found out that she had written “signs of early puberty” on my file and didn’t bother telling me or my parents. I would’ve liked treatment options back then but now I am an adult and can do nothing about it. I wish I had known back then that I didn’t have to stay with one doctor and could’ve changed doctors. I wish I had been checked by another doctor so I can know what was going on with my body. Last time my sister saw her, she had come in for lower back pain that she had for years. Dr. Burgham checked her and proceeded to write something down on paper. She didn’t say anything about it other than nothing was wrong, so my dad had to keep asking questions about it. Later, when my sister switched to her new primary care physician, it was determined that she needed physical therapy. Her back is better now… and she no longer has any pain. I remember never being offered cookies or stickers like the other kids that came in because of my unfixed early puberty that probably made me look older.

She is always receptive and ready to find an answer to any concern no matter how trivial. She is great at remembering and reviewing all my daughters health history and looking at the full picture. She is never dismissive and will err on the side of caution, which is exactly what I when it comes to my daughter's health. She is very warm and caring. The staff can vary and are definitely operationally focused but not rude. I think they put a lot of pressure on themselves as an office to maintain a high level of care and follow up. Overall, I would definitely recommend her and the team that works in this group.

I like Dr. Burgham. She is caring and attentive. Although two other Pediatricans that I have used with my daughter in this office have left, Dr. Burgham is doing as well as possible picking up the slack and volume of patients left. She has been very receptive to my daughter's needs and takes the time needed to hear out all our concerns. +
