Dr. Jennifer C Dunn, MD

Dr Jennifer Dunn is one of the best doctors that I have been to. She is kind, caring, thorough, and respects myself and my family as a human beings. She was my doctor throughout my pregnancy 7 years ago, and continues to be today. We have (somewhat jokingly) said that we can't move away, because then we would have to find a new obgyn, and I just don't know that we would find a doctor as caring and trustworthy as her.

The doctor is great. She gives a personal touch while talking to patients. Tells about her own experiences to make it relatable. Very good bedside manners. The nurse is very young but very warm. The only reason to give 3 stars is the clinical assistant. Its a big struggle to call doctors office as you have to talk to the clinical assistant, who will just push you away and make you guilty for calling at first place. She will make her own diagnosis and will never be ready to return the call after checking with doctor. While you are pregnant specially first time, you need a lot of support and assurance from your doctor. But I feel like I struggle to pick up phone even if I am in pain, thinking that I will have to deal with her and will be put down by her. I dont see why not they improve here and make the whole experience a pleasant one.

I have been seeing Dr. Dunn since 2006 and have thoroughly enjoyed her as my OB. She is always friendly, answers any questions I may have and talks to you like a real person. I started going to her after I was pregnant when I switched from DuPage Medical group because I felt like a number there.... here I dont. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child and enjoy going to see her. If I have a question, her nurse Pat (who is also wonderful) always gets back to me the same day!!
