I saw Dr. Cook for 10 years growing up. I never had a bad experience with her, she helped me see my health issues as a part of my life. Not as something to be terrified of.

When I was first diagnosed back in 2005 she was the first endocrinologist I had seen. There was a lot of fear and uncertainty of being diabetic. Dr. Cook was an amazing teacher and I would take my children there I'd ever diagnosed.

We waited over an hour to be seen. She ordered numerous tests and we were not called with any results. When I called a week later to inquire about results, we were told everything was fine, and we didn't need to return for a year. I requested my own copy, and took them to another doctor. There were several concerning results in the testing and we have been referred to University of Iowa. Please do not waste your time going to this doctor.

Dr Cook took the time. She is in no hurry to rush you or the questions you have. I love her patience. It made me feel safe putting my daughter's life in her hands. I also love being able to contact them 24/7. Her office is wonderful!
