If you have the great honor of being treated by The Best Oncologist; then you are being treated by Dr. Jennifer Temel MD. Having the Clinical Director of Thoracic Oncology at MGH as your doctor; then you are being treated exceptionally. Dr. Temel increased Mary Hunt's lifespan by three times her initial diagnosis of small cell lung cancer. There is no better Doctor than Dr. Temel. That is a fact!!!

I don't agree with the one star rating for Dr. Temel. I believe her job is to offer the best treatment available for your particular case. If you don't agree with it, then get more opinions. Dr. Temel told my wife what her treatment would be and we accepted her plan. The treatment plan is flexible and is changed as necessary as the treatment progresses. Dr. Temel was recommended by the MGH Breast Cancer Center and her reputation is outstanding. We would highly recommend her.

Quite simply; Dr. Jennifer Temel MD. is the best doctor in the country to see if you have cancer. My experience has been outstanding with this great doctor. I have seen many doctors; and Dr. Temel MD. is the best!! The Mass. General oncology department is the best facility to visit if you have cancer. This facility is on the leading edge of treatments; I know.

Pure and simple: Dr. Temel saved my wife's life. I am convinced that if we had stayed at our local hopital, my wife would have received wonderful kind care. And she would have died inside of 2 years. Dr. Temel exposed us to treatment protocols we never would have received outside of MGH, she got the best of the best involved with her and she made it known from the beginning that she was there to cure her. That made all the difference in the world.

The best oncologist in my opinion. She looks at every potential solution and treatment available. Her bedside manner is amazing. Due to her thinking out side the box treatments she gave my mother much more time with her lung cancer than could have been imagined. She survived stage 1V for 5 years and most of that time feeling great. We are lucky to have had Mass General and Dr. Temel.

Dr Temel will tell you what she is going to do. Presenting options and allowing the patient to select what they wish DOES NOT OCCUR. Question her, suggest any medical information not associated with MGH and she shuts you down. If you want to be pro-active with your treatment and care, stay away. Her PA is not truthful!
