Dr. Jennifer Diane Verbsky, MD

I’ve tried to contact the office in regards to prescribing my husband too high of a dose of medication. But because I am not on his Hippa, they aren’t allowed to speak to me. And instead the doctor outted my conversation with their front desk which resulted in more angry and rage. Im trying to make things better on his mental health but no one is listening to me. It’s just the same- angry, erratic, irrational behavior. That everyone in his life sees. Nothings changed. I firmly believe meds should be left to a psychiatrist and not necessarily in the hands of a internal med physician. I can only do so much on my end, but when a medication doesn’t work for someone and is making them worse I don’t know what else to do. The doctor doesn’t see it because she only sees him 5 minutes in an office, I live with it and it’s taken a toll. I’m hoping something gives, and we can get him recalibrated on the correct meds.

I do know someone close to me who is being OVER PRESCRIBED adderal and isn’t using it properly, which results in irrational and crazy behavior. Now I understand she only doing her job, but she is the supplier. Dr.Verbsky is consistently gives a hefty script to someone who isn’t using the medication properly. This person likely doesn’t need it but may need to be put on something else, or maybe they only need to be prescribed a low dose with a combination of something else to calm them down. She’s not a psychiatrist, but she should refer people to one if they need it and investigate if she notices this persons behavior doesn’t warrant the script. I only speak on the behalf of what I’ve seen- a doctor prescribing something with a higher dosage then needed, and the end result being a person who is unstable and acting irrationally, daily.

I have been a patient of Dr. Verbsky for 3+ years, and only have great things to say about how wonderful she is. She is caring, knowledgeable, answers any questions you may have, and takes her time with you. I never feel rushed. I would recommend her wholeheartedly!!!!

Dr. Verbsky is an excellent doctor. See listens to you and spends the needed time to help you and she really cares. She will also take the time to call you to make sure your doing well. I wish all doctors were like her.

Her bedside manner was great.. She answered all of my questions and I didnt feel rushed. Never have I ever recieved such a thorough physical assessment from any doctor I have ever been to.. She was great!!
