Dr. Jeri L Ellis has the following 1 specialty
- Family Medicine
A family practitioner is a doctor who specializes in caring for people of all ages, at all stages of life. Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, family practitioners are often the doctors that people see for their everyday ailments, like cold and flu or respiratory infections, and health screenings. When necessary, family practitioners will provide referrals for conditions that require the expertise of another specialist.
The doctors may also provide physicals, inoculations, prenatal care, treat chronic diseases, like diabetes and asthma, and provide advice on disease prevention.

I have never been so angry in my life. My husband and I both went to this Dr for two years. We enrolled in Complete Healthcare of Oklahoma a month ago so got new drs. No more waiting six hours for a 5 minute appointment. First I will start with me. I had multiple problems with my legs swelling and feet turning blue. Dr. Ellis told me I had Reynauds Syndrome. Friday I saw my new Doctor. 10 minutes into the exam she asked me about my serious heart murmur. I was stunned. Dr. Ellis never said one word about a heart murmur in two years. I told my new Dr about the high cervical, shoulder and arm pain that was diagnosed as spinal degeneration and muscle spasms. I told her about the " Reynauds." She informed me that these were are symptoms of a cardiac problem. I am now facing $2349 in tests to figure out what can be done about my serious heart problem as an EKG done Friday showed ischemia. Now for my husband. He had an MRI done a year ago for lumbar pain. We were told by Dr Ellis it showed " swelling and arthritis." He saw a pain management Dr this morning who obtained a copy of the MRI. It clearly stated on the MRI that he had bulging disks to the degree that one of his vertebrae has slipped forward. He is now facing a series of epidural injections at $250 a shot. I am angry. Very angry. She needs to lose her license.
Really? You call this woman a DR, surely not! SHe dresses tacky, nasty and per the registry of doctors she is not even licensed to disperse medication. Whoever seekd her out to be their primary care physician you are wasting your time. It is not even worth your time or energy even searching her out to even go see her. I wish I could give her no stars because she isn't worth me rating!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all I would have rather rated 0 (zero) stars but it wouldn't give me that option. If your looking to get pain pills then I would recommend Dr. Ellis but keep in my mind that those 90 pills will take atleast 5 hours to get. The longest five hours you can imagine. After being a patient there for several years I never waited less than 4 hours. Besides the crazy wait time the office staff is very ignorant and illiterate. The reason I am no longer a patient at this clinic is much worse than what i've already described. My aunt has major medical problems including serious spinal cord injury and has been on pain medicine for years before seeing this doctor and when she decided to stop taking medication after the last 2 of her spine surgeries she needed help because she had become dependent (notice I said dependent not addicted) she thought she needed help and turned to a medication that decreases withdraw symptoms. Because she tried to live her life with out pain meds Dr. Ellis My aunt realized that she had to have medicine in order to complete simple daily tasks and went back to Ellis not even 2 months later and this is what the doctor had to say, " I can't be your doctor because your seeing the same addiction specialist I am, that would be a conflict of interest," after years of trusting this so called doctor with her major medical problems she just turns her away and even after the other doctor sent over a fax that she wasn't under her care any longer. And still yet on top of all these things the patients she sees for a hurt thumb try to sale their pills to other patients in the waiting room. Conclusion,if your a tweeker just meeting a
DR. Ellis herself was Fantastic ,exactly what I would look for in my Primary care provider. As far as the staff goes I feel that 80% of them were pretty good to great. The other 20% were adequate but trying.Dr. Ellis is not afraid to take the weight of the world on her shoulders and do so gracefully.I am a strong person have owned businesses with up to 100 employees while raising 3 kids on my own, and couldnt be as cool and in control as she was.Hats off to her.
