Dr. Jerry Bell, DO

Dr Bell is the BEST. The problem is with his staff...getting through to anyone is nearly impossible, they never call back (although the voice mail says that they will-good luck with that) and either they do not give him his messages, or he is slipping and he is not keeping up. I know they're busy because a couple of doctors left the practice, but that shouldn't affect patient care. It is, though. I am hoping this is a hiccup and it can be resolved. Otherwise I have no choice but to find another provider...Dr Bell is awesome, but what good is a doctor if you can't get through to him (or even his staff)?

I will start by saying that Dr. Jerry Bell is a caring physician and a wonderful person. His staff leaves much to be desired. I informed the office two months ago that my insurance company wanted a pre authorization for a medication that I was on. Without this, I could no longer have the medication after a certain date. When I called the pharmacy for a re fill I was told that the medicine was rejected. In 2months time, why is it that the office could not take care of this? This leaves me with no medication and no prescription for an alternative. When I phoned the office to inquire about this I was told "It is Monday morning and I have seen nothing about this"

I was one of Dr. Bells first patients when he moved his practice to Madison 5 years ago. The first few times I saw him it was great. He would shake my hand, he was friendly, informative, and attentive. Since then, it's been all down hill. Now that he's so popular he always seems rushed, he has misdiagnosed me twice, and he just seems overall disinterested. I am looking for another dr. I suggest you do the same.

Dr. Bell is the BEST Dr. I've EVER had, he & his staff have wonderful bedside manners. He seems to genuinely care about each & every one of his patients. I have recently been diagnosed with cancer that is in the early stages so my prognosis is very good & I attribute this directly to Dr. Bell and his attention to details. . .he saves lives!

Two years ago I moved out to Lake county and was in search of new Physician and my physical therapist reccomened Dr Bell....I took him up on it. I am here to tell you that not only is this best and most caring family doctor that I have ever had in my 53 years on this earth. I will also say that most of my previous doctors were associated with the Cleveland clinic and they pale in comparison to DR. Bell and his truly caring ways. He is a doctor that really listens to what you say. He will leave no stone unturned when it coems to your care. Very easy to talk to. The 3 star comment as related to promptness is not a bad thing..I do not mind that he runs a little behind because he never makes you feel rushed and will take all the time with you that you need, so there is a little give and take there. I would rather wiat a few moments longer knowing that the doctor is not going to rush me out.

Dr. Bell is a wonderful doctor. His bedside manner is beyond most doctors, he is a prompt and empathic with his patients. I was hesitant to try a new doctor but I am glad that I did. He will now be my primary doctor because of his care.

Dr. Bell is one of the Best docoors I have ever had. He is caring and compassionate and very thorough. He will personally call his patients back if they have questions within a timely manner and is sure to answer any questions at a level a patient can understand. As a matter of fact, I have changed my children's primary care physician to Dr. Bell and my children love his bedside manner and down to earth attitude!

doc. bell sees my husband an i. he cares about what we have to say,and about our concerns he goes all out to help solve medical issues. he caught a condition in my husbnd everyother doctor was just feeding him anti acids. he even stays after at work to call and check up on us when he knows weve had procedures. a very nice man and very bright.
