Dr. Best consistently is caring, explains medical conditions thoroughly and is well acquainted with my medical history.

Great doctor. He was my pcp for almost 18 years. He was always pleasant. He never acted rushed but took time to give information and answer questions. I always felt he had my best interests at heart. I miss him. I’d go back to him immediately if he came back to Indiana.

He listened carefully, thoroughly evaluating and discussing symptoms and testing. Most M.D.’s clearly convey irritation when questions are asked, but not Dr. Best. He patiently addressed any questions, never giving the impression that my health information was none of my concern, or that I had no right to ask. Excellent bedside manner, phenomenal doctor, who genuinely cares about the patient’s health and the quality of service he provides them. Would not even award him one star. Perhaps the worst bedside manner of any health professional I’ve ever dealt with. I was seen my his office for a severe kidney infection and a burst cyst. He was on call when after hours I still had pain. He couldn’t find my file through my name or date of birth then repeatedly told me he could not help me. He was beyond rude - disdainful, insolent, and dismissive. It was clear he didn’t even look up my identity. I will never interact with him again and strongly recommend anyone finds another doctor who can respectfully communicate and will actually help a patient in need.

He is fine as long as you don’t get sick

Recently finally gave up on this doctor. I’m not sure if it is Dr Best or if it is his assistant that continues to mess everything up. Regardless, I have heard from several friends that warned me about the male assistant. Should have listened. I have now found a GP who can communicate and actually listen to me without having to send my messages through an incompetent assistant who could care less and couldn’t be any lazier.

I couldn't believe how I was treated. I was told to stay on MORPHINE instead of GAPAPENTIN which is my choose. Wow never Been treated so disrespectful in my life.

I have confidence in Dr. Best and I'm happy that friends referred me to his care.

His staff was very rude to me on the phone and his assistant didn't pass along X-ray results in a timely manner making wait extra time to see my referral doctor.

Dr Best is a great doctor. He really listens to his patients and takes all the time they need to explain how they are feeling to him.
