Dr. Jerry Lynn Chastain JR., DO

This is the first time that a doctor actually listened to me. He was very thorough and addressed all of my medical problems, immunization status, previous labs, and my routine screening. I was very impressed with his bedside manner and his medical knowledge. I learned a lot from our visit. For a first time visit, he actually spent about 45 min with me. I would highly recommend this doctor to my friends.

This doctor spent 45 minutes with me in conversation, answered all questions and was generally a very pleasant person. I did not feel rushed out of the room. I left feeling my problem was addressed.

I saw this man when I was having a severe migraine, and I was telling him about it he not only turned on every light he left it on and directed to my face. ( having had migraines for years now I know that this is not necessary and in fact makes it that much worse). He then asked me what meds I take for my migraines, and after telling him, he said that he wouldn't give that to me and I was wrong to even bring it up. And while he is in the middle of his tiraid he was looking over my chart and proceeded to add that my list of allergies didn't make sense and that my reactions were not possible. I was there when they happened believe me its very possible. And then went to get the nurse to give me some asprin. He obviously missed the part where it says I have a blood disorder and I am under no circumstances to take any type of blood thinner including asprin. I don't know if he was having a bad day but that trip could have sent me to ER for blood transfusions. He is horrible and I have… reported him good luck all and stay clear.
