Dr. Jessica Chapman, MD

Went to this doctor 2 years ago. I, like many others on another medical website, found her to be the most rudest doctor we have ever been to. When she came into the examination room, she read medical info sent to the office earlier. She didn't turn around to ask me questions. She didn't examine my dipilating feet or hands. She didn't run blood work (which my orthopedic was hoping she would do because rheumatologist do more in-depth blood testing). Instead, she rudely told me, as cold as ice, I was at the wrong place and there's NOTHING a rheumatologist can do for osteoarthritis. That's odd, because when it all started years ago, I was treated by a rheumatologist. Sadly, he left the area. I went years without seeing another, but still took my medicine that he had issued. It had progressed badly, and felt it was time to see a rheumatologist again. Here I was, hopeful that maybe someone new could help me, only to hear that cold & rude response! I was shocked and heartbroken. I left… feeling hopeless and worried. Even my primary care doctor was in totally disbelief that a rheumatologist can't help osteoarthritis. I believe the other MANY bad reviews I saw elsewhere on Google, were from those who went to her with osteoarthritis pain. Even if she can't help us, she can certainly have better bedside manners about it. Why be so rude & cold about it?

I went on the wrong day but she and staff were very accommodating and friendly and squeezed me in since we drove over an hour to get there. Her treatment was very good. Nice personality too.

Dr. Chapman is a great doctor! Providers like her are very hard to come by these days. I highly recommend her. I used to her when she was with Albany Center for Rheumatology. However, she has changed practices since. I have yet to see her new office but I will definitely continue to see her!

I've been seeing Dr. Chapman for a few years and she is one of the best doctors in my care team. Very thorough, and truly cares about my health. So happy to have found her!!

I found Dr. Chapman to be knowledgeable, a good listener, a person who speaks to you in a straightforward way, and personable. She also easy to smile which I find lacking in many Doctors.

My outlook was super bleak before finally getting referred to Dr. Chapman. She takes patient pain and quality of life seriously. I trust her judgment completely.

Not engaging. Unprofessionally dressed. Flat affect. No information given or symptomology addressed. Ineffective computer system in place. Had none of my records or forms that I had sent in that included my medications and explanation of presenting problem. Felt like they had no clue why I was there and didn't really care.
