Dr. Jessica C Rockwell, MD

Requested specific Labs drawn. Dr Rockwell refused to order the labs and had the nurse call me to tell me that I need to find another doctor, so I did. The new doc ordered the labs I requested AND did some additional testing. Come to find out Ive got low, below normal T3, adrenal fatigue and high thyroid antibodies. If she had run the tests I requested she would of found this problem. Instead she only wants to do TSH and T4 and perscribe a pill. Doc Rockwell does not believe that gluten has anything to do with hashimotos disease, and it most certainly does. gluten is like putting gas on the fire. She is still practicing 60 yr old medicine and is not up to speed on the current advances. Her method of treating a thyroid auto immune disease is outdated and rather dangerous.

Very dismissive. I felt rushed the entire (brief) time we met. Even though my symptoms were classically linked to both thyroid issues and known thyroid medication side effects, she seemed to have decided they were not endocrine related before we even met. If only that had been the case. I'm sure she's a pretty good doc IF you aren't actually sick.

Dr Rockwell is sharp. She carries herself with confidence but without talking down to you. She answers your questions, listens to your comments and is responsive. I felt like I had her complete attention while I was there.I'd give her the highest rating.
