Dr. Jill Susanne Nelson, MD

My daughter had a large hemangioma on her arm requiring laser treatments. She had one laser treatment and now has a large scar on her arm from a laser burn. During the consent process, we were never informed of the risk of deep tissue burns resulting in permanent scarring. She has yet to apologize or acknowledge that my daughter was burned as a result of her practice. We have since cancelled all appointments. Her pediatrician is now back to managing her hemangioma and we are having to consult plastic surgery for a scar revision for the burn received under Dr Nelson’s care. Very disappointed.

I have worked with Dr. Nelson for 15 years since finding a melanoma spot on my arm. I trust her with my life. She made me take tanning seriously and is always available if I have something that concerns me. Rhonda

Indifferent and appears cold disinterested in the patient’s problem. Involved in substandard practices with unnecessary testing. Needs to be reported

Dr. Nelson takes the time to sit and explain to you everything that she sees, answers all of your questions, and actually looks at anything that you are concerned about and doesn't try to sell you products they carry, unlike another greedy oompa loompa Dr. here in town with his own skin care line. I never have any trouble getting in and her staff, especially her nurse Jenny are amazing! They are also very knowledgeable on the prescriptions and procedures. With the friendliness and time taken I won't be going any where else for my skin needs. They don't ask for a deposit and always handle my insurance for me if there is an issue.
