dr katz was the first doctor able to determine exactly why I was feeling so tired and awful. I had been to a number of specialist trying to determine why I was feeling so weak and tired and dr katz was the first doctor to come up with solid reasons for my problems. we are now working on improving how I feel.

I've been to several physicians in the VHMG system - one moved, one was covering for the one that moved, one is a neurologist, two I saw over the years as an urgent care on weekends. The first thing Dr. Katz asked me was "Are you going through all the doctors in Valley Medical Group?" and she didn't say it jokingly. I told her my symptoms and then she asked "So what do you think I can do for you?" I was so taken aback. She seemed rushed and uninterested in me as a patient and a person. I figured I'd never go back to her but then ended up needing a doctor and she was on. She was completely the opposite - friendly, engaging, offered a special diet and stress reduction techniques. It has come to light that is now an integrative physician, which possibly could explain the change in her demeanor: she's looking to build that part of her practice. I don't need an MD addressing my spiritual concerns.

She was the most negligent doctor I've ever seen. She admitted she couldn't find time to look at my chart before our visit and didn't hide the fact that she didn't care and would rather have been somewhere else. Worst of all, she ignored my illness until I became so sick I needed to go to ER with a situation and extensive bills I could've avoided if I had been to a competent doctor instead of her. I can't stress enough that this doctor is one you should avoid. If this website would let me give her negative stars, I'd give her minus 5.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! She was overwhelmed with patients when I went to her and incorrectly ignored my bronchitis diagnosis as a common cold. I explained my symptoms to her and that my health care was going to expire, but she would only prescribe Nyquil and laughed when I told her I needed something stronger than that. About a week later, I ended up in ER with a horrible case of pneumonia and extremely expensive medical bills. If she had taken my diagnosis more seriously, I would be in debt for thousands of dollars. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!
