Dr. Joel Camilo, MD

Dr Joel Camilo is a liar. He puts information in the clinical notes that are lies. My last appointment he was over a hour late with no apology. He didn’t even spend 10 minutes with me and he did not touch me at all. He asked me one question and then just diagnosed me with no examination or bloodwork. He put in his notes that he discussed foods to avoid to assist with making my condition better and that he did a physical exam. Once again he did not touch me but said the I have no murmur and I do. He said that he touched my stomach and did not feel any abnormalities, he said he looked in my eyes etc. All things that are done at a physical exam but since he did not touch me how would he know about these things. I paid $45 for a drive through Dr and one that lies. He will never see me as a patient again. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to steer clear away from him.

Extremely late to both appointments I saw him for. No apology. very cocky and arrogant attitude. Orders a plethora of test and you don’t get results until weeks later and then he wants you to do a bunch of other test after that. I called several times for my results and his PA Milly G said “I’ve sent him a bunch of emails and he’s not responding and there is nothing I can do about it. I can’t control him” Sounds to me like his behavior is acceptable because he brings in $$$. THIS IS NOT PATIENT CARE! How he even has patients is beyond me. I would rather die than to ever see this man again.

He is horrible. Late. No apology. Orders a bunch of random test with no clear explanation as to why. Read between the lines-he only wants your money. I came in for a simple problem. Did what he asked of me to help find the cause of said problem. I get a call 37 days AFTER my appointment and all I get is “Your results are normal but the doctor wants you to have an MRI ASAP” No thanks. I will never go back to him. He is a wacko.

Le quiero dar las gracias a él Doctor Camilo por ayudar me y escuchar mi con mis problemas de salud. Es muy bueno y su enferma Milly es muy buena y siempre me ayuda y cuando tengo preguntas ella mi ayuda y si no sabe le pregunta a él doctor. Muchas gracias a los dos por su ayuda y muy Profesional.

Dr. Camilo is nice but does not respond to your blood work until on time. Hard to get appointments since he is always out of the office. This staff are amazing they are very sweet and wonderful. His medical assistant Milly is very sweet and always has a smile. She really takes time to explain your questions. I called for my labs she explained to me that they were in just doctor has not reviewed she said I will let him know and call you back. She did with in 40 minutes she called. She keeps him on track. Both very responsibility and caring. Great team guys!!!

Don't waste your time seeing this man! I should have listened to a friend and saw the doctor she sees & loves. I'm sure he would be a great doctor if he actually listened to you and stopped pushing you towards unnecessary testing. His nurse is nice but she did not seem interested in hearing me complain about not getting any of my results "that were sooo important to have ASAP" 38 days after the procedures. Steer clear of him and see one of his partners-ANY of them would be better than him!

Horrible doctor. Bern waiting since May for my results and everytime I call his assistant days "she can't control him". NOT AN EXCUSE! He does have a superior he has to report to, this is a HUGE comoany, so I am not sure why he is still alloswed to ignore patients like he does.

This guy, who calls himself a doctor, moves around like the wind. Back in year 2007, Camilo contributed to my wife's stroke, by withholding proper medication, after my wife had entered the ER with a TIA and atrial fibrillation. The SOP was to order anticoagulants, but Camilo decided differently. As a result, while patient at Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach, Florida, my wife suffered a full-blown stroke, in her own hospital bed. Proper early intervention would have greatly helped, but Camilo failed to respond.. She's never been the same since. If you value your life and those of others, STAY AWAY FROM JOEL CAMILO LOPEZ.
