Not good

He's a quack! Put in my medical records that I have familial hypercholesterolemia. I don't have high cholesterol and neither did my parents. He did no testing to arrive at this diagnosis! My primary care doctor sent me to him because I am a type 1 diabetic and it's recommended that all diabetics over 40 be on a statin. He tried scare tactics, telling me that my cardiovascular system was equal to a 77 year old... I was 55 at the time and a regular exerciser. My new primary care doctor has removed the familial hypercholesterolemia from my record.
