Dr. John W Floberg, MD

Arrogant, argumentative, confrontational. Uncooperative. Would not admit that he was unfamiliar with a 'possible' diagnosis already made by numerous others. He chose to argue the subject matter with me make me go through a huge battery of exams that I had already gone through. Pages of notes, findings, and conclusions already given to him. Had to come back a second visit where he still would not agree and chose to send me to a different Dr. who was more familiar with the subject. He could have learned something from me about my years of experience with it. Instead he argued and wasted my time before he would admit only off handedly that he didn't know the subject.

I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. He hadn't even reviewed my chart before I saw him. The information found within his visit summary was full of half-truths. He didn't even touch one of my muscles. He probably has never diagnosed demyelinating disease nor stiff person syndrome. before. He minimized the condition of my spine calling it "mild". My entire spine is degenerating, that is why I go to a pain clinic every three months. Was anxious to get my visit over with. Then on top of this, his staff faxed me a copy of his report without calling me first. All I had asked for was a copy of my appointment confirmation for keeping track of my medical absences. Not only that, he sent a copy of this bogus report to my Internist and current Neurologist. Don't go to this doctor. It is a waste of your time.

Dr Floberg was so kind and caring during my visits. He helped set up additional screening, took my concerns seriously, and helped find answers to all my question. The staff in the clinic are open and friendly. I have never had to wait more than 5 mins past my appointment time to be seen, usually called back early!!

His diagnosis was way off--he caused untold suffering by prescribing a drug that was not needed. He missed three key diagnoses found by a subsequent neurologist, and the diagnosis he gave was inaccurate. He did no further neurological testing to affirm or deny what he diagnosed at the beginning. I would not recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Floberg is a very knowledgeable neurologist in regards to headaches and the different ways to treat them. He was able to get me in extremely quickly, was very patient, and explained everything extremely well. Additionally, he returns calls in a very expedient manner and has a great memory when recalling past patient history.

Got an appointment when I needed it. His examine was thorough. He was able to changed meds right away and I saw a great improvement. I have left messages to have him call me back and the calls were returned promptly. Highly recommend this doctor.

but when it came down to it, he was willing to leave me handicapped, instead of sending me down to Mayo, so i could at least try to save my arm, before it was too late... instead my other doctor had to step up, and do what Floberg should have done, I liked him, but in the end he let me down in a major way, and I still wonder that maybe, my situation was something he just didn't have the training to understand completely and my other Doctor did, I wish him luck, but his decision makes it impossible for me to go back to see him
