Dr. John Walton Hannah, MD

My daughter was under their care after she had continuous uti at first visit she saw dr. Hannah and then he turned her over to a PA. She was referred there by our PCP because of the uti . She was 18 at the time and dr. Hannah told her that she was not cleaning herself properly after having sex and give her a antibiotic. Then a month later she had another one this time we saw the PA who is just as incompetent as dr. Hannah and she said the same thing give her a different antibiotic. Here we go again two month later the third uti same scenario this went on for months so we finally went back to the PCP and I told him what was going on he then sent a message to dr. Hannah’s office insisting that they do the scope to see what was going on. We go in and this time dr. Mani preformed the procedure with the scope and as soon as he got it in they hit a 5cm bladder stone with fungus floating around it. Was told they needed to laser it to bust it up. So we scheduled the procedure but was… told that we had to pay up front 800.00 before they would do it. This child was sick couldn’t pee because this thing was so large, they had her going through almost a year of pain if they would have just done the scope after the second uti they had seen ( you have to remember that she was a referral because of the uti’s from her PCP, so there where more before she got there.) she would not have had to suffer. There was no time to get another Urologist to look at her. So we paid the money. I hope they choke on it. That is so sad that money came before the health and well being of my daughter. This has been a few years ago , the only reason I did not say anything until now was that I worked for the hospital that they were associated with and I was afraid I was going to be fired. I no longer work there or live in the area. My daughter still has pain sometimes for all the damage done by the bladder stone and fear over the situation. They made her feel like she was nasty and dirty which she is not. She was so ashamed. Now she takes 40 minute showers cleans herself constantly and has anxiety over getting a This kind of Incompetence should not be Tolerated . Please think twice before going here.

I have IC or otherwise known as Painful Bladder Sydrome. I am in tremendous pain. I am getting procedure done on Wednesday but called office this morning because pain has increased and see if I can get in earlier for the procedure. They said quote unquote we don’t deal with pain go to the ER. I am not a drug addict I have legimate pain. If my pain is caused by my bladder that is what you deal with so you need to help me.

Dr. Hannah was not my urologist but he was tasked with terminating me as a patient and refused to continue my prescription. His correspondence was trying to justify why he was no longer going to treat me which is ironic since I have never met or talked with him. I found his letter very offensive and his treatment of me almost criminal. I chose not to return to his office even before he terminated me as a patient with a registered letter. Either he is ignorant of what he was doing to me by stopping the medicine or very vindictive. I pray that he does not do this to anyone else and his attitude changes towards the patients he has.

This was a horrible experience with a very unethical and unprofessional doctor. He performed a vasectomy on someone who didn't really want it and wasn't sure about it. This patient wanted a reversal the very next day. He now has to wait 6 months and pay thousands out of pocket because insurance doesn't pay for reversals. He also has refussed to do a reversal on this patient because of the emotions involved. The same emotions where there when the vasectomy was done so it never should ha e been performed. He is just out for the money. He had no managed to mess up a very happy and secure couple and he doesn't even care.
