Dr. John Eric Herzenberg, MD

Dr. Herzenberg is an excellent surgeon. We brought our son to Baltimore from another state to have his leg lengthened by Dr. Herzenberg. He is an expert at using the Precice Nail for lengthening. He and his staff listened to all our questions and presented us with all the options. I would highly recommend him.

I have Cerebral Palsy and have been seeing Dr. Herzenberg since i was 12. I am now 40, and I cannot thank him enough. Without him and the surgeries he performed on me, I would not be able to lead the life I have now. I lead a comfortable life, and to this day I still see him and follow his guidance. I am lucky to still be in his care.

The world needs more Dr. Herzenbergs!!! At my 20 week ultrasound we were advised our son would be born with a clubfoot. I immediately begun my research. After one horrible doctor's appointment, I found Dr. Herzenberg. I sent his office an email on a Friday afternoon; not expecting any quick responses as I was not due for another 5 months. Well an hour later, Dr. Herzenberg was calling me himself and talked to me for an hour; answering all my questions and calming all my concerns. As soon as my son was born we began our in office visits. What bedside manner I heard on the phone was only exponentially increased with our in person conversations. Dr. Herzenberg and his team made this incredibly terrifying experience easy and most importantly, well informed. We recently completed our clubfoot journey and give all the credit to Dr. Herzenberg and his team for this amazingly active and perfect 4.5 year old. If you are anywhere near the Baltimore area and are looking for a doctor to… treat clubfoot; you HAVE to see Dr. Herzenberg. There is literally no one better.

A highly knowledgeable and skilled doctor. Very patient and down to earth attitude. He and his team is the reason for my son having almost normal leg inspite of the many complications my son had. Would also like to mention here about his PA Renee who is extremely prompt in sending out prescriptions and responding to the emails whenever we had any doubts. Dr. Herzenberg is outstanding. Our son, William, was born with bilateral clubfoot. Thanks to Dr. Herzenberg's expert care, Will is now an athletic six-year old with no sign of challenge. We feel extraordinarily grateful for Dr. Herzenberg's brilliance and kind, caring manner. He consistently goes above and beyond to provide excellent patient care.

Dr. Herzenberg is of the best in treating clubfoot using the Ponseti method. We are so thrilled to have access to his expertise and kindness. As a parent, I thoroughly enjoy his compassionate demeanor. As a nervous parent, I enjoy his dry humor lol I trust him with my daughter's livelihood!

We came from out of town for a leg lengthening procedure. Dr H was very thorough and told us what to expect every step of the way. The surgery was a success. We could not be happier.

Dr H is an effective, kind and experienced surgeon. He has followed our daughter for nearly 13 years and 10 surgeries. She could not be in better hands, and we are thankful for him as we work through her treatment plan.

Dr. Herzenberg was great over the year long plus time he worked with my daughter for her very involved surgery on her legs. He explained everything along the way and answered all our questions. Not only do I think he is great at his profession, but he has great bed side manner with his patients and families.

He has been my Dr. for 15 years and has changed my life. I was in 3rd grade when he performed the first surgery on my leg, and now I’m 23. I’m married and have lived a completely normal life, having surgeries every few years. I still have a few surgeries ahead of me, but I know Dr. Herzenberg and his amazing team will lead me to the finish line of my journey. His bed side manner always makes me feel calm and he explains things so great. My parents and I feel so blessed to have found him. I truly can’t say enough about how amazing him and his team are!
