I was referred to Another doctor by the ER, when I called the office they set me up with this Arrogant joker who spent less than 60 seconds in the room with me, did not look at my shoulder and said see you in 3 weeks. I never went back. Thank you IHA for jeapordising my fracture from healing properly. You need to Vet the Doctors you hire a whole lot better. This man is a disgrace to the practice of medicine

After being injured at work I was sent to Concentra they’ve been working on me over two months no results they did one MRI and decided to do a second at that time I just cited I needed a different doctor the first thing I did was looked up to see if Dr Anderson was still practicing thank God he was in 10 minutes he gave me more information than the other doctors ago in 2 1/2 months best doctor ever highly recommend him

My first visit to Dr. Anderson, I asked him to fix it so I could keep being a young, retired outdoors person. He did exactly what he said. Years later I had to visit him for a more invasive surgery and I gave him the same quote as on my first visit. He did exactly what he said and I don’t even know I’ve ever had surgery! Full active mobility.

My daughter went to him with a knee injury. Dr Anderson did nothing more than ask a few questions, then presume a generic diagnosis not consistent with the injury and tell my daughter she is overweight and out of shape. Find a doctor who respects and treats patients as individuals.

Strives to get you healthy and active as soon as possible with a common sense approach. That works for my family !

I saw Dr. Anderson in the late 90's for a painful knee condition that I had for many years. Despite Arthroscopic surgery by another surgeon, physical therapy and countless braces and orthotics no Dr. had been able to dx my condition. I had just about given up and decided to live with the mostly constant pain. Another Dr. recommended Dr. Anderson and said "Don't give up before you see this guy...he is the best!" I was nervous because I had a history of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy which causes many surgeons to decline to operate for fear of spreading the RSD and being sued. I had no reason to be nervous. Right off the bat Dr. Anderson told me, re: the RSD. "sorry to hear you have that, it's very painful. Let's see what's going on with your knee so we can help it". He had no qualms whatsoever! He examined me, ordered tests and I returned for the report. He had been unable to find an obvious problem on the radiographs. He could have given me a script for PT and shoved me out… the door, but he didn't. I clearly remember him, all these years later, standing there, staring at my knee, his chin in his hand. He repeated all the previous questions. He again examined my knee, gently pressing and moving it about. When I experienced pain, he asked me to describe it to him. I described it again but this time added " it feels like someone shoved a cold ice pick deep into the center of my knee". He paused, looked at me and grinned. He then pressed a point on my knee that caused severe pain which I "verbalized" :o)! He said "I think I know what's wrong". I had never heard sweeter words! He gave me a shot in the center of my knee. I was to pay careful attention to how my knee responded over the next few days and then return with my "report". He explained he had learned of a problem that had become evident during knee replacement surgeries. His discovery led him to diagnose the condition in patients who had previously been dismissed. He developed a technique, using an injection as a test, which dependent on the result would allow him to find this condition. He performed surgery, cutting out portions of my microscopically torn patellar tendon & removing a triangular portion of my patella and tibia so they would fit together comfortably and accommodate the re-shaped tendon. He seemed pleased and excited when he found the problem, not in a self-satisfied way, but in a way that said "I am so happy I can help this person". He inspired me to work hard, right away, to rehab my knee. I was able to walk into his office, with no crutches, 2 days later (much sooner than expected ). He was pleased and allowed me to rehab the knee myself, forgoing PT (as long as I continued to show such good improvement). I was thrilled because he respected my attitude, motivation and familiarity with the exercises required to rebuild the strength in my leg. He advised I have the other knee, which was not as bad, done in 3 months. I never had the other knee done, I didn't need to! The incredible improvement after the first surgery took the pressure off the remaining knee and halted the progression of damage. Because of him I was able to again participate in the many activities I loved, all pain free. He gave me a great gift because he took me seriously and took the time to really think about my problem. To this day, many years later, my knee remains solid and fairly comfortable. Dr. Anderson is skilled in his speciality, to the point of being a true artist. He has a wonderful sarcastic, dry sense of humor that I appreciate. He treats people as individuals, with great respect. I have read reviews that suggest he doesn't spend time "talking" with his patients. I found he says what NEEDS to be said rather than spending time holding patients hands. Clearly, he has a GREAT desire to see patients as scheduled, whenever possible, rather than having patients wait in pain while he "chats" with others. I saw him, several years following surgery, at a pet store. I didn't recognize him but he knew me and said "when are you going to have that other knee done?" after inquiring about my progress from the first surgery. In my opinion, he represents what a good doctor should be when attempting to find a solution to patients infirmities. He is kind but focused on being a healer rather than a friend. I would not hesitate to see him again or recommend him to others.

Wouldn't go anywhere else

Dr. Anderson saw my daughter for a broken hand. The cast he put on was painful, and the fingers were crossed - he agreed it was incorrect, removed the cast, and put on another. The second was even more painful, pinched inappropriately, and he managed to get the fingers crossed again. This time he instructed us to go the Emergency Room to have it removed and corrected. No eye contact, gruff manner, and the installation of a simple cast was not possible. Beware!

A true medical professional. No nonsense wth Dr Andrrson--tells it like it is and like his style.
