Dr. Frazier didn't even show up for my appointment
Self-verified patient of Dr. John K Frazier - Posted on March 18th, 2012
I arrived at 1:45pm for a 2pm appointment. Wasn't called into the examination room until 3pm. Only saw the nurse and PA. Dr. Frazier never bothered to come in the exam room and I know he was in the office (over booked). The PA took an xray and declared that all I had was tendonitis and to take Lodine. I called back in a month when the pain was still the same and was told the next appointment where I might get to see Dr. Frazier was in 6 weeks. I went to another doctor who ran physical strength test and prescribed an MRI. The diagnosis is a 90% detachment of the rotator cuff and a bone spur (which was clear in the xray and MISSED by the PA). If you want a glorified nurse making the call on your injury, then maybe Webster Ortho is Ok for you. I actually want to see someone that is trained to be a surgeon.
My knee problem still exist

I had surgery for a torn meniscus in 2004. Dr. Fraizer said I'd be back on the tennis court in 2 months. I could never play again. I have not walked without pain since the surgery.I was not sent to physical therapy until 3 weeks after my surgery. I now know that was way too long to wait. I do not know if it contributed to my on-going pain. When I continued to complain about the pain, the doctor suggested I may need a partial knee replacement. That is when I sought a 2nd opinion.I have undergone a series of tests from doctors in many fields since 2004 and no one has been able to stop the pain. I have always wondered if the delayed therapy contributed to this.

Dr Frazier's staff--his "secretary" sorry cannot remember her name is so nice and makes sure that I understand everything I need to know before I leave--she was so nice and pleasant to be around-- Norman--the PA is great--explains everything to me and answers all of my questions---and made me feel very comfortable with my decisions. Dr Frazier is one of the nicest doctors that I have met--very thorough with my understanding of my treatments and makes you feel so comfortable when he is givin those cortizone shots--you do not even know he is doing it--I tell evyone I work with that they need to go to Webster Orthopedics and see him--(cortizone seems to be the drug of choice where I work!!!!!) He helped me and that makes me very happy!!!!!" – C. Cooper "I have been going to Webster Orthopedic for many years now, and I have had both knees replaced by Dr. Frazier. The Medical Assistant, Angela is absolutely wonderful. She always has a smile on her face, makes sure she can do everything she can to make sure I get the best possible care and shows so much dedication to her job. She has made my two surgery's so much more bearable. In my time of recupping she answered my questions and got me the best care possible for rehab. I have to say, she goes beyond what is expected, and she is a definite asset to your company." – L. Leach "Everything about Webster Orthopedics is extremely professional...from the appointment clerk to the receptionist to the nurse, Norm Yamada PA, and X-Ray tech. Everyone showed compassion and sensitivity. I wish every interaction with medical professionals was as pleasant." – J. Stemmler "Having the new combo Synvisc shot relieved some chronic knee pain and got me back running a little again every day – even 6 months later." – R. Gilbert "I am thankful to have the opportunity to be treated by such a professional, knowledgeable and caring physician. He listened to my medical complaints, examined me and ordered appropiate test to find the cause of my symptoms. I was previously treated in another medical facility for the same condition and didn't receive adequate treatment. I also appreciated how the staff respected and treated me." – S. Tatmon "Dr. Frazier and his team of Norman, Angela, and Sandy are great. They always treat me as a patient and not a number. They are courteous, professional and caring everytime I see them or speak with them on the phone. Thanks for putting this group together at Webster Orthopedics!" – S. Estes
