Dr. John Kaczmarek is always kind and caring. His professionalism is outstanding. He takes the time to listen, answers all questions and provides solutions.

I have had a woman gynecologist for many years and she recently retired. But an appointment with a new female gynecologist was abruptly cancelled yesterday due to her being called away for a baby delivery. The office staff called the Waterbury office and even though they were having a hectic day themselves, Dr. "Kaz" agreed to fit me in. I had been in pain for a few days and was very worried about that. "Dr Kaz" was so kind. I was not embarrassed and he really listened to me, took a urine sample and ordered two prescriptions for me. He also asked me to let him know on Monday how I was doing. I have never been so comfortable with a doctor as I was with him.

I have been seeing Dr. Kaz for at least 18 years..... I will never see another doctor for my OBGYN care, he is the best! He takes his time and never rushes no matter how many questions you have, he is friendly and knowledgeable , He delivered my 17 year old son! I swear by him! I call him with any emergency and he makes time for me immediately! Staff is so nice and it is like a family atmosphere!

I saw Dr. Kaczmarek for what appeared to be a breast infection. My original appointment went well and I was given antibiotics. However, after completing my med I had additional symptoms and called in for a follow up visit. I found the office staff to be rude and less than encouraging for me to return for a follow up, saying things like "well, you won't be seeing a dr but a PA instead, let me just have the nurse call you to see if you really need to come back in, etc.". I decided to wait for a follow up based on what I was told by the nurse, however was forced to come in after the swelling continued to increase. In my 3rd call back in I made the appt with what turned out to be a PA, not the dr. But I was desperate. Upon my arrival to the Waterbury office I discovered the office was less than clean, the dirtiest office I have ever been in I with a clinic-like atmosphere. I found the receptionist people to be less than happy, really, you can't smile and say how are you? Iafter… waiting 55 minutes to see the PA, I was immediately referred to a breast specialist by the her and was told that the nurses would make an appt for me and call me hopefully that same day to let me know. Of course, no one called me so I called the specialist on my own and was told to come in immediately, which I did. I'm still waiting diagnosis through MRI at this point, but called Dr. K's office to cancel my upcoming annual exam appointment. Of course the rude receptionist asked if I would be rescheduling, I said no I will be looking for a new doctor, she said "ok, good bye". Good doctors overshadowed by rude and incompetent nursing and support staff.

I was unsure about seeing a male OBGYN, this man changed my opinion and fear of male OBGYN's. He made me feel comfortable from day one. He listened to everything I said without judgement during my pregnancy (while midwives made me feel very uncomfortable). He delt with my pregnancy hormones and millions of questions like no one else could. He went above and beyond-my birth experience was better than I imagined because of him. The world needs more doctors like Dr. Kaz, seriously.
