When I was looking for an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Keggi's reputation preceded him and his excellent reviews are very well earned. His care, thoughtfulness, thoroughness and superior surgical skills are amazing. Superlative in every respect. I highly recommend.

From start to finish my total knee replacements - I had both knees replaced - were very smooth. Dr. Keggi was present, reassuring and always took the time to listen and answer any questions. From the first day I met with Dr Keggi and the team I could not have felt more taken care of and had all my questions answered. Great care was taken in his office and for X-rays. The preparation class at Windham Hotel in Southbury was very helpful in preparing me for what was to happen and ways to get ready. I cannot say enough about the care, courtesy and professionalism of all whom I encountered at Mid-State Hospital. A great hospital. After I was discharged an at home therapist came to my home to work with me for a week until I could start outside PT at Access Rehab in Southbury - another great place. Before surgery, Through the entire surgery and post-op and during my recovery, there were online videos to watch and places to log my progress. There were places to ask questions through the patient portal or send pictures if there were any concerns. Overall, the entire experience was made smoother because of the care, compassion and expertise of Dr Keggi and his entire team.… I’m having my other knee replaced 3 months from now and I don’t dread the experience at all. I’m happy I had it done.

Had a THR right side on Oct 9th. Dr Keggi is considerate taking the time to explain everything about the surgery answering all questions. The recovery was quick with minimal pain. I have full use and range of motion with my new hip. I am very pleased.

Had a right hip replacement, anterior approach, and back to exercising and swimming in 6 weeks. There was virtually no pain, felt so much better after a few days. Everything went very smoothly. Dr. Keggi is patient and answers any and all questions. I will have him do my other hip as well!
