Dr. John Michael Lesher, MD

Dr. Lesher did a thorough assessment of my condition and clearly explained next steps in care. I appreciated that he was conservative in treatment and did not feel that additional imaging or intervention was needed. He encouraged me to continue exercise as tolerated, told me what movements to avoid, and recommended an exercise that will effectively work key muscles while keeping my cervical spine in a neutral position so as to prevent any further nerve irritation. I trust Dr. Lesher and also found him to be very personable and an excellent communicator.

I was referred to Dr. Lesher by a friend. It has been the best decision I have made. I moved her recently and was seeing another pain management which cannot meet the standards of Dr. Lesher's office. He is professional and caring and researches the best method to relieve the pain. In my case he did. His staff is the best. Michelle who is his nurse is caring in the first office visit and in when I had my shot. She made the entire procedure very unnerving. Patrice was also very caring and again made the procedure unnerving. Traci who schedules the procedures was patient when scheduling my appointment and immediately retrieved the records from my prior pain management company. The nurse who I apologize do not have her name after the shot was very specific in giving me the procedure for after the shot. Thank you all for being you and caring about your patients. You are the best.

I moved here recently and was referred to Dr. Lesher office. I see why his professionalism and kindness through the whole first meeting to the shot was beyond my expectations.nothing that I have experienced in my other office. Let me also add I was so nervous at the first meeting till Michelle Dr Lezher nurse entered the room. She is also so professional and caring. Thanks Michlle. Also Teaci who does the s scheduling managed to schedule me and request my past records while I waited no rush. Thanks Traci. Patrice who I met on the day of the shot called prior to the day of injection to verify and she was very specific in having my history correct. She also the day of surgery was beyond caring. The nurse who I do not have her name after the shot was so sweet and caring also very specific in after shot directions. Thank you. I developed shoulder pain of insidious onset. After a week of misery I went in to see Dr. Lesher. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem (calcific tendonitis) with ultrasound and treated it promptly. I received immediate pain relief and my range of motion and function were quickly restored. Dr. Lesher and his staff were great and I am very thankful to them.

received third shot in back as i was experiencing pain throughout buttocks and down leg. shot helped immensely..my choice to receive shot and it worked so far and i understand this is not a cure for stenosis but making life manageable without surgery

We tried everything to alleviate my neck and shoulder pain. The only thing that really worked was to stop doing what caused it in the first place. He was kind, patient and very helpful.

Dr. Lesher has treated me for my bulging L5 disc. He has performed two injections for my sciatica which have been very helpful. I also had therapy at the Huntersville office under TJ's supervision and found it to be insturmental in getting me exercising again after being limited by my pain. Dr. Lesher has also treated my teenage daughter who suffered a stress fracture in her lower back. She is now back to playing volleyball painfree which we are delighted about. Overall I have been very pleased with Dr Lesher's care. My only concern is that the wait time can sometimes be lengthy but we feel it's worth it.

Dr. John Lesher and his entire staff from Office Administration to Nursing and his professional care are beyond reproach. Dr Leshers expertise in helping me with my spinal issues and hip have been phenomenal. Professional, courteous, very responsive and attentive. I can not say enough about all the experiences. A+++++ The best you will find anywhere.

I have my first appointment with Dr. Leshner in a few weeks but I must say after reading some of the reviews I was skeptical to call and schedule a appointment. But I was very please with my experience with the front office especially Wanda. I trust my doctor who referred me and one way to make sure your experience is productive is to be prepared . These doctors see hundreds of patients a month. I have also heard great things from a few friends from church who have been going to this office for years. I have a hard time believing a doctor tried to diet bump like said above. If so it may have been a precautionary of needing to wash hands first. I worked in hospital setting for 5 years and avoided shaking hands if possible.

He's a great doctor - really helped my hip pain

I have seen Dr. Lesher for years. he has treated my shoulder, hip and back. He always provides great care and gets me in quick when I'm hurting bad. Michelle, his nurse, is also a real charm and the therapy department has showed me some exercises that has helped me turn better with my golf swing. Thanks a lot!

the staff was not friendly, when I met dr. lescher, I held my hand out as to shake his hand, he made a fist out of his hand and barely touched my hand with his knuckle, he acted like he had no time for me. I would never go back to him. he needs to learn some kindness.

I was referred to Dr. Lesher for help with a tendon in my knee. While Dr. Lesher did take the time to check my knee I found that he was looking at xrays from May of 2013 which was before a knee surgery I had for another issue. He dismissed it as joint pain, gave me a shot and sent me on my way. Pain is still there. However, my biggest complaint is the staff. The receptionists were the worst I have ever witnessed in any doctor's setting. They acted as if I was interrupting them and there was no one else in the waiting area. And it is one huge waiting room. I don't need them to hug me but they could do more than ask me my name and then ask for my drivers license and insurance card. These people are the first people patients see and if they treat all patients as they did me he might as well close up shop. His nurse was relatively nice, but again, could use a little help in the personality department. It is stressful enough going to the doctor without having to put up with attitude.
