Every time I go to Dr Prater he comes in prepared like no other doctor I've known He has already reviewed my chart and reviews any tests I've had done. He listens well! He never rushes me, and addresses my concerns, and follows up at my next visit. He is outstanding.

I once considered Dr. Prater to be an excellent physician. He really seemed to care and was an advocate for his patients. Since moving to Geisinger he is always hurried and the quality of his service and counsel are poor. You are treated as a nothing more than a number. Almost impossible to get through on the always busy phones. When I asked for his recommendation regarding what surgeon to see for a serious injury, I was told "anyone in the Geisinger network." After more than 2 decades trusting this doctor with my family's well-being I am done and will not be returning to him or his office.
