Dr. John Michael Mai

One word sums up Dr Mai....jerk. He has absolutely no bedside manner and the PA's at this office are equally as rude and dismissive. These people are obviously not happy in their profession and take it out on the patients.

Actually I did not have a chance to see this doctor Mai! At the time of appointment I was waiting 2 (!) hours in waiting room, finally they put me in some exam room, promised to be seen by dr Mai, but instead I had visit from some nurse who tried to start my 'examination'. My response was: I came to see a Doctor not some nurse. She responded: doctor is busy with some procedure! I ask why you didn't tell me these two hours ago, I would reschedule appointment. There was no response from her and I left this room and came to front desk demanding my co-pay back. They didn't want to help me, just ignoring my demand. So I left, after spending almost 2.5 hours for nothing!!! This was terrible behavior from this "doctor" and his staff. I will also try to write my experience about this "appointment" in any website where this doctor is represented. Shame on this "doctor" and his office!

I took my disabled son to see Dr. John Mai for a UTI and Pain. He ruined my pennis trying to put a catheter in him. Then the next day he ordered us to the hospital for an emergency super catheter that was unsuccessful as well and never treated the UTI or pain my son is still having complications from the two unnecessary procedures done by Dr.John Mai he refused to see him again after he did not know how to correct his mistake after so many super catheters he replaced into my son.

Dr Mai gave wonderful care to my hubby during and after his surgery! Very compassionate and understanding....Took the time to explain everything that would happen!!

Dr. Mai took the time to investigate my problem. He respected my issues as a patient and worked with me to handle my long term problems. After working with physicians in a clinical setting for over 35 years he is definitely a good one.

Dr Mai was always very nice and cordial , and always had a smile on his face when he entered the room. His smile disappeared when i started asking questions and had legitimate concerns that he did not agree with or want to address. I will not go back to him, nor will I ever recommend him to anyone.
