Dr. John Clancy Mansour, MD

I saw Dr. Mansour for a stage 1 pancreatic cancer diagnosis. He sat down and discussed the cancer, the pre op chemo, the surgery and follow up. Very honest with a very sincere delivery. I knew that day he was my man for surgery. He was so kind to me and my family and eased the anxiety. I am extremely pleased with his surgical skills and his people skills...and I am pretty picky! He took an extended amount of time and did my distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy laparoscopic. I cannot day enough good things about Dr. Mansour and my experience. No post op complications other than hating the drain tube?? I am forever grateful to him and the dream team at UT Southwestern!

The first appointment took longer than I expected it to for a look-over of notes and CD. I saw a nurse, PA, then Dr. Mansour, who I felt immediately with considering, I am giving him the keys to open me up and remove a very large Liposarcoma in my gut, He took time to answer my lengthy list of questions, actually touched my belly, and looked me in the eyes when speaking to me. He was pleasant with my husband as well. I felt he truly cares for the people who come to him for medical treatment. We never felt rushed, but informed and he gave his card so we could contact him if we had any questions later on. I am much happier with this choice than I was using Baylor. "Just Keep Swimming", said a very famous fish -Dory.

Can't say enough about Dr. Mansour. This is the second surgery he has performed on my father and both times he has gone above and beyond! He is very friendly and with a great attitude. Took the time to explain and answer all of our questions. Will be forever grateful for all he has done for my father.
