After two years of marriage to find out I couldn’t have kids because of a few health problems, Doctor Paciuc never let me down, and always looked for the best treatments for me, and really showed he cared. Because of his help, support, and care, thank god I have two beautiful children. Both teenagers now, happy and healthy! He wasn’t only my gyn, he was a loyal friend. He was truly special, I never met anyone like him. He was always a helping hand who was there for me in the toughest times. My sister-in-law recommended Dr Paciuc, after I became quite desperate to find an ob/gyn I like. She has been a patient for many years, and at first I wasn't sure, if I want to take trips all the way from Brooklyn to see a doctor, but Dr Paciuc was so worth it. Dr Paciuc is incredibly knowledgeable and that always kept me very comforted, even when I had a couple of pregnancy scares. He always is on top of all new medical research. It is really invaluable when a doctor loves what he does, and it really shows in his work. His bedside manner is impeccable, and he is overall just a wonderful man, and has truly become a friend of our family. His office is charming, comfortable and relaxing. Not at all an ob/gyn experience you usually have in other places. We, unfortunately, had to move from New York to Miami, but I really can't imagine a doctor who I'd be more comfortable with to deliver my baby.

Dr. Paciuc is an outstanding physician. I had my three kids with him, the last a C-section, and was devastated when his office stopped accepting my insurance. I always tell my husband that when we have a fourth child (slim chance but just in case) we will have to go back to Dr. Paciuc. He is knowable, warm, and has a wide network of physicians he knows; he recently recommended one of the top oncologists in the country for my mother in law. Now he is my mother's doctor and I get to see him annually as I accompany my mom on her visits. He also does volunteer work at a clinic, which I admire. Dr. Paciuc is a wonderful doctor, you will be in good hands.

I have been a patient of Dr. Paciuc's for over 18 years. Dr. Paciuc takes the time to really listen, see me as a person - not a body part - and works with me to assure I understand any medical issues, my options, how my family history may play a part, etc. He is never rushed and always takes the time to "debrief" and chat with me at length following my exam. Dr. Paciuc has seen me through many fairly serious issues and always provides thoughtful alternatives. I am always welcome to text or call (I do not abuse this privilege) and he never fails to check on me - sometimes just because he has not heard from me in a while! I wish my other physicians were as thorough and caring.

I went to Dr. Paciuc after my friend recommended him (she has 3 children and she says/jokes she had her 3rd because of him).The facility is the best. It's clean and roomy and beautiful.Lu is one of a kind. I almost named my daughter after her. She is just awesome and knows you by name. I had a miscarriage with my first. I was truly devastated. They scheduled my follow up exam at their office with noone else there. I still get teary thinking about how wonderful that was because the last thing I wanted to see were pregnant women.When I got pregnant again, Dr. Paciuc & Lu was very happy for me and the care was first class. Dr. Paciuc was there to offer advice and listen to my concerns.He also gave me my Amnio and knew how scared I was. He calmed me down and made the procedure as bearable as possible.I was in active labor for 30 hours and it was clear that I wouldn't be able to deliver naturally. The c-section went smoothly and his after care visits were great.I had another baby in another state and the care was so different-so uncaring and not personable at all. I really missed Dr. Paciuc and Lu and tell my husband if we have another, we are moving back to NYC!I really had the best care with him and whole-heartedly recommend him.

Dr Paciuc is one of the most caring and considerate doctors in NYC. I have moved to London and will move back to NY just to have my next child delivered by Dr. Paciuc. I have seen many celebs in his waiting room, yet he treats us all like we are special. Lu, his office manager is like a mother to me.

With the number of C-sections at almost 40% in New York City hospitals, my girlfriend was puzzled when I told her that I wanted to deliver my baby "naturally" or vaginally. Her initial reaction was, "Why go through all the pain and suffering?", so I had to tell her all the pros and cons of having a vaginal birth vs. C-section, and explained to her that I can still have the epidural with the vaginal birth. I had heard stories about how pregnant women who want to deliver their babies vaginally end up having C-sections. Almost always, the doctors have the last say and claim that for the safety of the baby, they must do a C-section instead. How can the parents say no to that? My co-worker told me that his wife wanted a VBAC so they chose a doctor who said his wife can delivery the baby vaginally, chose a hospital with a birthing tub and even hired a doula, but when push came to shove, her doctor said the baby's head was too big and she ended up with a C-section despite the couple and doula's persistent plea to have a vaginal birth. Knowing this could be my one and only birthing experience due to my old age, I went to Dr. Paciuc with a wish to have a vaginal birth. He had been recommended highly by my usual gynecologist. At first, I wasn't sure if Dr. P. could handle the unpredictability of delivering a baby at any time of the day or night or weekend, since he works on his own without partnering doctors. My original OB-GYN, who seemed too willing to give me a C-section, had 4 other younger doctors partnering with him and took shifts. (This meant that I had only 1 in 5 chance of getting my doctor when it was time to deliver!) After delivering my first baby vaginally last month, I'm really glad I went with Dr. Paciuc. I did have a long and difficult delivery and a few uncomfortable side effects from the episiotomy and bleeding, but the experience was worth it. Unbeknownst to Dr. P., my late grandfather, my aunt, uncle and brother-in-law are OB-GYNs, and I know some things about doctors, such as they show up at the last minute when they are needed to deliver the baby and have the nurses and resident doctors do most of the work. With that said, I probably have more patience and understanding than other patients. However, I was not brave enough to deliver a baby at home or a birthing center with a midwife, just because I wanted to deliver my baby "naturally", and felt more comfortable having my baby at the hospital under the care of an MD. Dr. P. stuck to my original wish, spent hours more than he needed to late at night so that I can have this baby the way I wanted. Oh, and yes, he does C-sections, too.

Dr. Paciuc is the best. Very professional, caring, wonderful and he cares about your health (and if applicable, the health of your baby).Lu heads the office and she is one in a million. Always greets patients with a smile and, if she knows you, a joke.
