Dr. Joline Macfarlan, MD

I put my trust in the doctor years ago, and she failed me. I went to her 3 times within a month complaining of joint pain, headaches, brain fog, and fatigue. And she kept saying to take OTC meds. My fourth visit I luckily got a doctor who actually did her job and sent me for testing. I had Lyme assumably for months since I started symptoms, that Dr Macfarlan could have treated, but just didn’t think was important or “real”. I continued to go to her in the following years complaining of various different issues, noting that my health has been on the decline since I was diagnosed with Lyme. She continued to dismiss me, and refused to give me a referral to a Lyme doctor, Even though my tests were coming back positive. She decided to give me a referral for a psychological evaluation instead. This pitiful excuse for a doctor convinced me I was going crazy, when in reality she just wasn’t doing her job. 3 years later, I’m working with a doctor who actually cares and has diagnosed me… with chronic Lyme. And the reason why it’s chronic? Dr. Macfarlan kept dismissing me when I was symptomatic. If you care about yourself or your health at all, steer clear from this lady.
