Dr. Blumenfeld is in another league. He is a doctors doctor. He takes the time to find the cause of your problem and treat it. I have been his patient for a long time..at least 20 years and trust him completely.

I HAVE POLYCYSTIC KIDNEY DISEASE AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. HE IS THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. HE GENUINELY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS, AND IS EXTREMELY THOROUGH. Dr Blumenfeld by far is the most knowledgeable, professional and caring doctor. He treats you like your life and health really matters to him. He is so thorough that you will never ever see anything like this from another doctor. He is a scientist-doctor. He knows the newest stuff available for kidney patients, although takes a careful approach to all. His staff is very good! A lady who drew my blood was so pleasant, that I forgot about all my worries. Anyway, thanks G-d for the Internet that I was able to find such a doctor and be now under his care.

He is a doctor's doctor. I am a surgeon and had had uncontrollable blood pressure which had been mishandled by another cardiologist who was using the wrong medication and I nearly had had a stroke. Dr Blumenfeld spent two hours at a consultation, tested my renin level (which had not been done by the cardiologist) and correctly ascertained that I was on the wrong medication which required renin to act. There was too little renin for my medication to act. He eliminated that medication, substituting another, and My BP was stabilised within a week. I liken him to the Messiah because I cannot extol his virtues highly enough. I trust him completely to monitor my failing kidney. He is thorough to a fault, and epitomizes true professionalism and expertise. He is a class act.
