I’m an rn at a little er in Tempe. Dr. Konti is my eye doc. When my PA wasn’t sure what what was the trouble with a patient, I called dr Konti’s office. Never before have we had an eye doc talk to one of our ER providers. Dr. Konti talked to josh for ten minutes and gave him a treatment plan and a diagnosis. If you want a decent man and an honest diagnosis, then Dr. Konti is your doc. Just my opinion

Having been born cross-eyed & undergone corrective surgery as a toddler, I've had a lifetime of seeing ophthalmologist & Dr. Konti is hands down, the best I've ever seen! He's very kind, exceptionally thorough, & very knowledgeable! The entire staff at both the Tempe & Awhatukee locations were always wonderful. The only downside was that it took a really long time to get the appt., and then to schedule my cataracts surgeries. The best are in high demand, I guess! One other caution is that there are huge price differences charged by the various out-pt surgical centers in town, so your co-pay portion of insurance coverage may be hugely different, as well. The Biltmore location was only 1/3 of what the Chandler location charged, so my co-pay was several hundred less for my right eye. Wish I'd known that in advance.

Very professional office - staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I had been seeing another ophthalmologist for years (won't mention name) who said my crummy vision in my left eye was due to cataract. No one else ever said I had those but this other guy said I did so I trusted him and underwent cataract surgery and my vision never improved and he kept putting me off and refusing to see me and when he would see me he would just say it's dry eye. Well I decided it was time to seek another opinion and I fortunately saw Dr Konti and he immediately noticed a little palish color to my optic nerve and felt things were much more serious than dry eye. He sent me for urgent MRI and I was found to have a very large brain tumor that was crushing part of my optic nerve. Dr Konti saved my life! He's so kind and sweet. Thank you for everything Dr Konti. I would never recommend Dr. Konti. The lack of thoughtful care and patient rapport would best describe my appointment. His diagnosis and treatment recommendations were condescending with no resolution. He may be able to see you earlier (with a long wait), but I presume it's because there is no demand for his personality, arrogance or lack of interest especially if you present with no obvious surgical treatment. I would recommend investing time, finances and concerns with a physician who cares.

As a long time patient of Dr. Robert Lewis, I'm fortunate to have stayed at this office where they turned my care over to the competent hands of Dr. Jon Konti. Over the last five years, he has listened to my concerns and taken the time to figure out and talk to me about best options to improve my quality of life. He recently performed cataract surgery and intraocular lens implants on both eyes. Game Changer!! Not only is my world so much brighter, but I can see without the glasses I've learned to "coexist" with for nearly five decades! The Toric lens has worked out great with one eye under corrected for distance, for better near vision. What a great concept! My two visits at the Eye Surgery Center at the Biltmore were marvelous. I found the staff there truly caring and incredible - from Jessie, who checked me in, to Kelsey, Beth, Olivia, Dr. Lowry and Belinda who made the surgical procedure seem like a walk in the park! I'm so grateful for all of them, but especially Dr. Konti. What… would possess a person to enjoy cutting into eyes? Not sure. But, I'm glad he does. I feel blessed, lucky and extremely insightful!
